Plight for Christians 'Worst Ever' in Iraq

The Rev. Andrew White, vicar of St. George's Anglican Church in Baghdad, says he fears that after several millennia Christianity may be at an end in Iraq.

"The future's very bleak," he said in an interview with CNSNews.com. "For the first time, I've had to consider the very real fact that Christianity may be at an end here. "We don't know if it will survive. Nobody wants to stay here. Everybody wants to get out of here."

Asked to describe the current situation in Baghdad as militants with the Islamic State (also known as ISIS) terrorize Iraq, Rev. White said it "is basically the worst it's ever been. People are very fearful."

Islamic State jihadists have carried out mass executions, abducted women and girls as sex slaves, and used children as fighters in systematic violations that may amount to war crimes, the United Nations said.

They have been terrifying communities into submission by slaughtering those who resist, and are especially targeting minorities, including Christians. American air strikes seem to be doing little to stop the Islamists' advance.

At the time of his CNSNews interview, Rev. White said Islamic State forces were "two miles away" from Baghdad.

"People are fleeing in the hundreds," he said. "We saw all the people who were made to leave Mosul and Nineveh, and now we've seen several come back to Baghdad because things are so bad in the north."

He said that Christians in northern areas of Iraq, where the Islamists have been attacking Christian villages, "are literally homeless. They've no longer got their homes or their security, and they're living in camps. Things are really bad."

White works with the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East to provide aid and promote reconciliation among different religious groups in Baghdad.

As the Insider Report disclosed last week, France's Chief Rabbi Haim Korsia has compared ISIS militants to Nazis and likened Christians and other minorities

Finishing Well ...

.. is determinative. The Lord may allow you to take the ultimate test of your obedience and loyalty to Him, perhaps even through the ultimate honor:  martyrdom. Many Christians across the world have faced this test, and are currently doing so.

In the war in which we are engaged if you don't finish well all previous efforts are useless. Lost. They count for nothing. If you say that you are committed to Jesus Christ - and you are tested, required to renounce the name of Jesus on pain of the guillotine -  and your fear causes you to renounce him, take the Mark, and take an oath of obedience to the Antichrist, you are lost for eternity. Satan is lying in wait for you. It's not that you've lost your salvation. You were never saved. You were a CINO - Christian In Name Only. As the Lord himself said: "Ye must be born again." A true Christian will not take the Mark and worship the beast, because he is sealed by the Holy Spirit. He has the mark of God.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Are you afraid to die? If so, why? There is no such thing as death. A Christian has not yet begun to live.  Life in the flesh is only a shade. A school. A test. A reflection of your real self, your spirit.

FEAR IS THE ULTIMATE LACK OF FAITH. And faith is what is required.

Why do you call yourself a Christian? What is your reason, your motivation, for following Christ? The answer should be the same as His reason for shedding His blood for you: LOVE.

This spiritual war is one of endurance. With God's help I will not be moved. No matter what. I expect the rapture soon, but God has not given me His schedule!  He has promised us (it was not our idea, as some seem to say) that we would not go through the unprecedented tribulation of the end times - the time of Jacob's trouble and unlike any other tribulation that has ever occurred. However, in the meantime there is no reason for me to expect any treatment different from that of my Christian brothers and sisters who are  currently being persecuted, even to death.

ISIS in Iraq is the onset of something entirely different - a drastic escalation of evil and butchery which the world has not known in this age. It would be very naive to believe that it is not coming to the United States. Suddenly. And soon.

Make sure that you are ready to go the distance.

There Is Absolutely Nothing To Fear!

                           * Read online for video viewing & lots of resources *

"Be not afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today." Exodus 14:13

And some say the Bible is out of date! They are the ones out of touch. God's Word is so far ahead of anything in this world today (especially so-called 'science') that it boggles the mind.

When confronted with dire circumstances and extraordinary difficulties, not knowing whether to go the right or the left, the course to take is to listen only to the Holy Spirit. "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 is not talking about 'going into the silence.' It is talking about meditating on the very Word of God and praying for the Holy Spirit of God to direct our paths. Why would we listen to the voice of some fallen and feckless spirit when the Creator Himself is available?

"Be not afraid" is one of the great messages recurring throughout the Bible. Isaiah 26:3 sums it up perfectly: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

The enemy will come and whisper, "Give up." It's too difficult. Too hard. Too slow.  We want to do something, anything. But the very thing we should be doing during this time is having our eyes fixed on the Lord, because he will not only do something, He will do everything. He doesn't need us at all to accomplish His will, but what an honor that He wants to work through us.

God has us right where he wants us to be. It may appear all is lost, impossible; but our faith is being tested. We may be surrounded, with the enemy coming up from the rear - mocking us - telling us how foolish we look, how naive. How silly we look to other people. The enemy will not give up easily. He will prod us into pride, boasting, "If someone is blocking your way, take care of the situation yourself." Yet true faith never listens to arrogance, impatience, fear or despair, and cares not a whit what 'people' think. It only hears God's voice saying, "Stand firm," and then our faith stands as immovable as a mountain.

In every situation God has a purpose - often more than one. He wants to make known His glory to others, and He wants to teach us to trust Him completely. God said in Exodus 14:4, "But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am Lord." (They are about to be taught this lesson again.)

God promised that He would take care of them and that He was going to fight their battle for them. All they had to do was to obey, stand firm and be still - focus on God and on His promises. Nothing has changed. The same truth applies to us today.

It may be a situation different than we could have ever imagined, but He has a plan. He will get us to the other side of our Red Sea. He has not left us; we are not on our own. We do not need to fight this battle; we just need to stand still, firmly grounded in our faith and know that God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20.

God has a plan. We must maintain the posture of one who stands firm, ready for action, expecting further orders, and cheerfully and patiently awaiting the Master's voice. It will not be long until God will say to us as distinctly as He told Moses to tell the children of Israel, "Move on." He will close the door on this age just as He closed the door to the Ark once Noah was aboard.

Even in what seems the worst of times God would have us to be joyful and courageous, rejoicing in His love and faithfulness.  We are the apex of all His creation, fearless, strong, people of faith, hope and expectation.

He has given us every thing we need and He has everything under perfect control.

"Be not afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today."

The Dark Side Is Panic Stricken

                  (Read the post online for better viewing & lots of resources)

For the past dozen or more years things have been going from bad to worse for these demons and their shills, the New World Order "Elite."  They are clearly in a state of mortal fear, as is appropriate, considering the horrific end they have looming in front of them as they inch closer to the abyss with each passing day, month and year.

Those in the world who are aware of these evil beings have their number ... and it's almost UP. Their everlasting Divide and Conquer game, the only game they know, has been revealed to everyone who keeps an eye on these things. As a result, this tactic by which they live has played itself out in the eyes of everyone but the completely clueless.

Even their own followers, the duped New Agers, are catching on to the fact that the fantastic promises of a new age of peace, joy and love cannot possibly emanate from such evil beings. Such liars. Such spiritual losers.

Unfortunately, there is a new generation of the most ignorant beings on the planet, this most naive but arrogant generation of young people who have no wisdom and therefore historically follow whatever Pied Piper pipes the loudest. (Let me make clear that I recognize there certainly are many exceptions - most of whom seem to be Christians, many home schooled.) This current generation has even less protection than usual due to the fact that they have had no education whatsoever, only a generation of brainwashing and mind control. They will make perfect slaves, and the irony is that they will never have known any other condition but slavery, completely oblivious of their humanity and its eternal potential.

Worse yet for these young ones, they will become even less human than they already are. They will/have become the first generation of human/machine hybrids - robots, trans humanists. and in this machine state will not only not be aware of it, but will think themselves to be 'gods,' without even comprehending the meaning of the word.

With their Facebook accounts, their iphones, ipads, ipods, imarks, iminds, and oh-so-spiritual ireligion, all of which are pumped full of demonic personalities, thoughts, desires and evil, their worlds will be completely centered around their contrived and egocentric non-selves. Their every thought and move will be designed to deceive them and to please their masters. It is already so. The Lucifer Youth. Joel's Army.

These are those who are descending - in the guise of ascending. But before they descend they are buying the story that they are living in the "now." Zen. Everything will be wonderful. Just 'go within.' Have patience. They believe these lies no matter how many years they spend in the fruitless search for something they never find - and never will.

The cadre of Dark Side losers has only one goal remaining, and that is to rid the earth of the real Christians. To do that efficiently will require some heavenly help from their mortal enemies, the Creator and his hosts of real angels. The Christians are the only partakers in the real Ascension.

The ultimate irony is that those who buy his delusions are less deceived than Lucifer himself. He has bought his own lies. The most beautiful angel ever created is ending up as the most wretched and pathetic of any creature. He just couldn't tear himself away from that mirror, from worshipping his own image rather than the One who created him. What a waste.

Beware! Let us who were made in the very image of God himself not make the same mistake.

Trusting God In Bad Times

We are about to find out whether or not we actually trust the Lord, because bad times are in our immediate future. I think that I have finally reached a point in my life where - with the Lord's own help - I can trust Him no matter the circumstances. I hesitate to even say it, because I might yet be proven wrong, but I will say it because I believe He has brought me to this place. It's a witness to His faithfulness and His perfect love. If He sacrificed His own Son for us, then we can certainly trust Him for everything in life.

He brings us to a position of faith and trust through our experiences with Him. My life - and that of my parents before me - is full of stories of His faithfulness in times of trouble. We will have trouble. That is the nature of life on earth. It is through trouble that we get to know God and to discover that He is 100% trustworthy. Circumstances are immaterial.

Upon carefully reading scripture on the subject of trust, it's interesting to discover that trust is often linked with witnessing to others through the rough time! It seems to be the case that when we tell others during the difficult time - or afterward - that witness to the Lord's faithfulness is honored and rewarded by a continual increase in our faith and trust. It seems to be a spiritual principle. Joy and praise are always integrally linked to faith and trust, too.

We learn through walking with the Lord that His wisdom is infinite, He always knows what is best for us, and His judgments are perfect. Although things may not make sense at the time of the awful circumstances, we can often (though not always) look back and see that He has performed miracles - miracles which we would have missed had we not trusted His perfect will and wisdom.

God is sovereign. He is able to accomplish anything at all. He is the essence of truth and love and wisdom. Nothing stands in His way. Everything that happens occurs with His divine approval OR permission. He is in absolute and complete control at all times.

Here are some wonderful verses about trust. I was looking for one verse, but couldn't resist more. Print them out; you may need them.

Psalm 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 22:4
Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 37:40
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Psalm 44:6
For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

Psalm 56:3
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Psalm 56:11
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Psalm 57:1
Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

Psalm 71:5
For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

Psalm 112:7
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Luke 12:32
Fear
not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Fear Comes With Age

This is something I have made note of over the past decades, in my relationships with the aging. The reason I have bookmarked it in my mind is that I have learned that I am always one generation behind - in experience and in understanding. I recognize that what I see in the generation ahead of me is what I will need to deal with when I get there. I don't dwell on it, but I certainly make note of it.

I think I can say that one feature my life has been characterized by has been fearlessness. I have always plunged into life from the deep end of the pool, and swam like the devil wherever I came up for breath. I once had a friend tell me I was the bravest person she had ever met; I had no clue what she was talking about. I thought maybe she had confused bravery with foolishness, but I was relatively young at the time.

I suppose had I been in politics or the Mafia, I would have been 'the fixer.' I have always fixed everything for everyone in my life. To a certain extent, that is the role of a wife and mother, but I think I took it beyond that. If I wanted something - or wanted something done - it happened. If I perceived that my child or stepchildren needed something I provided it. (And if I perceived that they didn't need something, I saw to it that it wasn't going to happen.) If my husband wanted something I saw to it that he got it, even if it took time. If my parents needed or wanted something they got it. In a strange way, with all of these people, their wish became my command. I wanted them to be happy. And somehow I assumed that responsibility.

Looking back, I see that I did assume the responsibility for their happiness to a degree. I've often wondered if it is in some way linked to my only brother's tragic death at the hand of a drunk driver over 45 years ago. Did I feel I had to make it up to my parents for their loss? I was all that was left?! Perhaps. But, then again, I was always such a conscientious child, even before that. I never really felt like a failure at anything until he was gone. It gets too complicated here, so I won't pursue that. Let's just say that, like many of us, I always tried to control things so that others were happy.

I remember noticing little fears that my parents had as they got older because, prior to that, I had believed they were invincible! As they got seriously older I noticed the things that were fearsome, and they eventually encompassed almost everything in life. It wasn't that they talked about it so much as it was that I paid extremely close attention - knowing, as I said before, that whatever path they were walking was a path I, too, would go down.

The reason I bring it up at all is that I have seen the first glimmer of that fear. The first faint shudder came at the thought of ever moving. That thought was so overwhelming that I spent the next two years getting rid of things (remember, too, that my parents had lived with us for a number of years). There are still many things to get rid of, but now I am in the phase of not being able to make up my mind what I can live without. So many things carry memories. I've been in this phase for at least a couple of years. I have begun to solve this dilemma by boxing things up and labeling thing, as if I am moving. Hey, it works for me! I may end up putting it in storage, even.

As I clumsily dealt with that first shudder of fear, the next wave came. That was the fear of not being able to keep up our property. We have a huge lot. I began to picture us as characters in a Dickens novel, two old people huddled in a shabby house with filthy windows, on a lot overtaken with weeds, cracked cement, etc. (Remember that I am a writer... everything in my mind's eye is dramatic.)

Then as I began to have severe allergies I had trouble getting my breath at times. The thought crossed my mind that, living out in the country, I might not be near enough to help in the event of a medical emergency. I didn't dwell on that one.

With the financial downturn in this country came higher taxes, bigger bills, shrinking retirement funds, and the question of future finances. I wondered if we should think about scaling back, moving to a smaller place ... and that brought me right back around to my first fear: that of moving. Just as an exercise, I saw myself in my 80s, and projected all of these concerns forward in time. It was overwhelming. I could barely handle it right now, how much less in 15-20 years? I could see I'd better get cracking on some of these issues.

And, more than anything on earth, I don't want to be a burden to my son. I would do anything on earth to avoid that. I'm sure the thought has never entered his mind. I don't want it to. Yes, I took care of my parents and wouldn't trade the privilege for anything in this world. But, that was me.

And even more than being a burden to my son, I don't want to ever be without my partner, my husband, my best friend. Immature as I know it to be, that's the one thing about heaven that I can't get my head around, that apparently there is no marriage. (But can we keep the one we have?)

Knowing as I do that I am only on the brink of the fears that come with age, I want every day and every hour to count for my Lord. Uppermost in my mind every day is my accountability before Him. Today is the day I have. This is the day I do not want to miss any opportunity to glorify His name.

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
I talk to the Lord all the time. I am learning to go boldly before Him. He is not only my Lord; He has said He is our brother, our friend. He giveth more grace. Indeed.

"Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength."
Daniel 10:19.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9.

And this is the one I'm counting on:

"...while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ..." Titus 2:13

Who Can We Turn To?

I recall one of the most difficult and shattering experiences in my life when my only sibling, my brother Jerry, was killed in an auto accident by a drunk driver when he was 21 years old, one week before he was scheduled to leave for Viet Nam. We were best friends. It happened in 1965.

The primary thought that kept haunting me was, why him? Why couldn't it have been me instead?

In the days that followed that tragic loss I was struck as I watched my parents respond with unusual faith. Yes, they were broken, and no doubt dealt with doubt and confusion at times. But I saw them turn to Jesus Christ and their faith in him throughout those difficult days. It was obvious that he was their source of hope and confidence.

It was the same reaction the disciples had to Jesus after some of them "went back and walked with Him no more" (John 6:66). Then He turned to His inner circle and asked them, "Do you also want to go away?" Peter then spoke from his heart as he answered, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

As the years rolled by, I learned to rely on the Lord in the same way. I remember another particular time of tragedy when I turned to the Lord as my source of help. I felt as though I was literally lifted up during that time. There was no doubt that miraculous aid had come my way - the kind of help that only comes from the ultimate source of help.

We face difficult and uncertain times on every front today. I meet people who are fearful. But it is a fact that we need not fear. We are told this numerous times in the Bible, and it is the absolute truth.

We can indeed go through the fires of life with our faith intact if we turn to Jesus. It's not pie in the sky. It's real. It's supernatural. It's a peace we can't explain. It's a miraculous truth that in Jesus Christ we can find the grace and strength we need to triumph ... no matter what the difficulties.

That's why it's called 'the abundant life.'

2012: Should You Worry? PART 2 of 2

Continuing from yesterday....

How did the Mayans and a multitude of other pagan religions come to attach significance to the year 2012? They have calculated the astronomical cycles with a precision that exceeds modern knowledge, and they didn't even have such simple rudiments as telescopes.

How were the pyramids built? There are many other ancient areas of the world which have structures which would be impossible to be constructed with today's technology, let alone the tools available thousands of years ago. What about Stonehenge? I could name many others of which you are no doubt aware if you have cable television. How in the world did these 'primitive' people build such impossible things?

The answer in every case is contact with demons. Or perhaps you would know them more readily by using the name they use in our age ... extraterrestrials. The same ultimate entity has been behind all pagan religions since the beginning of time - demonic powers. Remember that God and the angels (bad and good) live outside of the dimension of time, by which we on earth are bound.

Satan and his evil angels, living outside of time, could see God's plan from beginning to end. However, God did not allow him access to all of his plans. Nor do the angelic hosts (good angels) know or understand every aspect of God's plans. However, Lucifer and the angels with him know far more than human beings were given to know. They were delighted to use this knowledge to their advantage in their battle to steal power from God, which they have tried for centuries by counterfeiting God's plan and using it to deceive humanity. Part of their knowledge extends to technology far beyond anything we know. God limited our knowledge because in His wisdom He knew that we would misuse it, as we have done ... especially with all the aid and assistance given to us by Satan, who has tremendous knowledge about the workings of this universe.

Recall the pyramids at Chichen Itza? As with all of the other grand pagan cultures in antiquity the Mayans built structures beyond our ken. They did it with technology shown to them by the demonic hosts who they worshipped, technology which we are still not privy to in the 21st Century, although our military knows of it, uses it and has kept it hidden from the public. That secrecy is about to end.

Let's take a look at the god the Mayans worshipped. His name was Quetzalcoatl, translated "Feathered Snake." Quetzalcoatl is one of the major deities of the Aztecs, Toltecs, and other Middle American peoples. The word 'snake' certainly has a familiar ring to Christians. Need I say more? Research into almost every ancient pagan religion curiously reveals that old serpent, or dragon, as an entity they deemed worthy of worship. The Kukulkan pyramid was built in such a way that the Seven Triangles of Light and Shadow appear on the west face of the northern staircase between 4:30 and 5:00 PM during the Spring equinox on March 21st. As the people gather annually for this event, their object of worship appears in the form of a shadow as an illuminated serpent wriggles down the steps - their serpent god, Quetzalcoatl.

How did the Mayans know how to build it this way? The serpent showed them. That old serpent of which the Bible tells us so much. The Mayans believed that Quetzalcoatl would return some day. Unfortunately for him, he will be returning to his own judgment after all the centuries of appearing in various disguises and under various identities, to be worshipped. His latest deception includes the 2012 'prophecy,' a clever counterfeit of God's judgment day, with such things as pole shift, solar armageddon, Planet X and the like. Even today's skeptics are becoming filled with fear.

There has never been a more opportune time for you to be armed with truth.

There is even more. Satan and his demonic hosts believe in Bible prophecy and will assist the coming Antichrist in his claim to be the Messiah. The Jews are awaiting their Messiah, and the Christians are awaiting the second coming of the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. The rest of the world is waiting for ETs to rescue them from worldwide catastrophe through 'ascension' to a new dimension. The devil is taking full advantage of this by speaking to millions through meditation or channelers. All religions are coming together in order to unify, to ultimately become "One" ... to become god. Good luck with that.

2012 is the fear factor that Satan can hook onto. He knows that God has told us through His Word that there will be chaos, tsunamis, earthquakes, famine, plagues, millions will die. Things of epic proportion are happening, which makes it easy for the serpent to suck people in, to turn things to his advantage for the finale of great deceptions at which he is so adept. He is the god of this world and intends to rule it completely, if only for the short time he knows he has.

Fear is not a part of the Christian vocabulary. Jesus Christ casts out all fear and promises his people deliverance from wrath. The Mayans and all ancient cultures were based on human sacrifices to the serpent in order to court the demonic world in return for technology, wealth, and eternal life promised them by the devil. Unfortunately they, along with the dark hosts, will not receive eternal life, but judgment and death.

Millions of people over the centuries have tried to pay for their sins with blood sacrifices - life for life. But we know that our redemption was paid for once, for all time, by Jesus Christ, the son of God. People inherently know they are sinful and are looking for solutions. So sad they don't know about the finished work of Jesus that redeems us from all sin forever.

What can you do to prepare for 2012? There is only one area of safety, of freedom from all fear. Jesus Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. Look to Jesus, who died once to save you from your sin to make you a royal heir of the only true God, the creator of the universe.

He's the one who is wrapping things up, and He is the only one who has, with 100% accuracy, predicted the future from beginning to END. There is no other religion which has had over 500 prophecies literally fulfilled, as the remaining ones will also be. There is no other religion with a resurrected and living God rather than dead ones. There is no other religion whereby you can have a person-to-person relationship with God.

And soon there will be no other religion at all. He is coming to reign and rule on earth, a time Christians greatly anticipate.

To remove all fear of 2012, you now know what to do. The only question remaining is:

Do you recognize TRUTH when you hear it?

The Futility of Idols:

21 “ Present your case,” says the LORD.

“ Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.
22 “ Let them bring forth and show us what will happen;
Let them show the former things, what they were,
That we may consider them,
And know the latter end of them;
Or declare to us things to come.
23 Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods;
Yes, do good or do evil,
That we may be dismayed and see it together.
24 Indeed you are nothing,
And your work is nothing;
He who chooses you is an abomination.
25 “ I have raised up one from the north,
And he shall come;
From the rising of the sun he shall call on My name;
And he shall come against princes as though mortar,
As the potter treads clay.
26 Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know?
And former times, that we may say, ‘He is righteous’?
Surely there is no one who shows,
Surely there is no one who declares,
Surely there is no one who hears your words.
27 The first time I said to Zion,

‘ Look, there they are!’
And I will give to Jerusalem one who brings good tidings.
28 For I looked, and there was no man;
I looked among them, but there was no counselor,
Who, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
29 Indeed they are all worthless;
Their works are nothing;
Their molded images are wind and confusion.

2012: Should You Worry?

I wouldn't.

There is fear afoot ... a growing sense of doom. The end of the world will not occur on 12/21/12, nor will the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. However, something may happen - perhaps the arrival of the Antichrist?

Remember the "Harmonic Conversion" in 1987? This was the billed as the onset of the New Age, a time of metaphysical transformation to heal the earth and its people. Sixteen years later brought eight years of the Harmonic Concordance, introducing a new spiritual path beginning in 2004 and ending when? Why, 2012, of course.

Remember Jose Arguelles, author of The Mayan Factor? He's back as one of the 2012 champions. He says those who aren't spiritually evolved will be taken away from the world, a fervent belief of New Age leaders for many years. Hmmm. Sound a little like the Rapture?

And then there is 2012, the movie, featuring the slogan, "Who will be left behind?" That certainly has a familiar ring to it. Could that have been copied from Hal Lindsay, author of the Left Behind series of Bible prophecy books?

There is also the TV series, Flash Forward, where the entire world simultaneously blacked out for two minutes, seventeen seconds, and everyone saw a flash of their own future six months from the present day. One of the FBI agents says, "Well, one thing we know. It wasn't the Rapture!" Where did he get this?

So...does all of this sound somewhat familiar? Let's see: spiritual transformation, people being healed, new dimensions, spiritual paths, end of the world, rapture, doomsday, more rapture, FEAR.

Think DECEPTION!

The 2012 'prophecies' are nothing more than the New Age versions of Bible prophecy, an effort from the dark side to instill fear into people and lead them down the road to pagan prophecies. These tactics are used by the enemy - Satan - who has been engaged in copycat versions of God's plan for centuries. It's the best he can do (not being God).

Satan is well familiar with God's Word, holy scripture. Remember how he quoted scripture out of context to Jesus himself when Christ was fasting for forty days in the desert? Well, all of this 2012 fever is more of his piggybacking on the truth with his counterfeit versions for his own purposes. He is well aware that he has little time left before he is chained and thrown into the pit, so he's making the most of it.

How can this be? What were the Mayans predicting, and how did they know all these things?

You do not need to worry. Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you why.
