The Reality of Spiritual Warfare

Did you know that the KJV is the only Bible version that Satan and his deputies hate with a passion? They will tolerate - even promote - all other versions. Why do you suppose that is?

This is an article by Msgr Pope of the Archdiocese of Washington. I'm posting an article by a Catholic Monsignor? Yes. The true Christians in the Roman Catholic Church are few - just as they are in the Protestant churches - and all true Christians are fighting a spiritual battle for truth. I see great truth in this article and pray for the Msgr just as I pray for those in the Protestant churches who are fighting the good fight. These make up the body of  Christ - the Church, which is made up of individuals who are true disciples of Jesus Christ, regardless of what church they attend. A Late Lenten Meditation on the Reality of Spiritual Warfare

Every ancient prayer manual and guide to spirituality until about fifty years ago had at least one large section devoted to what was known as Pugna Spiritualis (spiritual battle or spiritual warfare). In more recent decades, many spiritual books have downplayed or completely deleted references to spiritual battle or spiritual warfare.

Sadly, many modern approaches to faith, religion, and spirituality prefer to emphasize exclusively consoling themes rooted in self-esteem, affirmation, etc. To be sure, the authentic faith can and does offer great consolation, but the truest and deepest consolation often comes after one has persevered along the sometimes-difficult path, along the “narrow way” of the cross.

But too many today, in the name of affirmation and pseudo-self-esteem are ready to excuse, and even affirm grave moral disorders, rather than fight them. Grace and mercy are preached, but without reference to the repentance that opens the door to these gifts. Both the possibility of Hell and any consequences of sin, are absent from many modern conceptions of faith and religious practice.

Some years ago, I was approached by a rather angry woman who, having heard my sermon on the seriousness of certain sins (which were in the readings of the day), expressed great indignation that I would preach on such topics. She said, “I come to church to be consoled and have my spirits lifted, not to hear old-fashioned warnings about judgment and sins.” She felt quite a “righteous indignation,” and was most certain that I had transgressed a fundamental norm, namely, that religion exists to console, and that any challenge to one’s moral stance, (except perhaps caring for the poor), is intolerant and way out of line.

Indeed, many today have this kind of attitude: that it is their birthright not to be troubled or vexed in any way by something people might say, especially a preacher who claims to represent God! The “God they worship” would never trouble them. They will have Jesus for their consoler and best friend, but not their Lord, and certainly not their judge. And never mind the literally thousands of verses from Scripture in which Jesus himself speaks sternly and warns of sin, death, judgment, and Hell. They will have none of it, and are certain that “the Jesus they know,” would never raise his voice at them or challenge them even for a moment. Never mind that the real Jesus says to take up our cross and follow him.

With spiritual battle having been removed from many people’s spiritual landscape, the idea that the Lord would summon us to battle, or ask us to choose sides, seems strangely foreign, intolerant, and uncompassionate.

Even more dangerous, these modern conceptions not only distort Jesus, but they downplay the presence and influence of Satan. This is a very, very bad idea. Even if we cease fighting against Satan, he will never ceases his sometimes very subtle attacks on us.

Jesus called consistently for prayerful, sober vigilance against the powers of evil and sin. Like it or not, we are in a battle. Either we will soberly and vigilantly undertake the battle, or we will be conquered and led off like sheep to the slaughter.

Despite what modern spiritual approaches would like to eliminate, Christianity has been a militant religion since its inception. Jesus was exposed to every kind of danger from the beginning. Herod sought his life; Satan tried to tempt him in the desert; many enemies plotted on all sides as he worked his public ministry, misrepresenting him, levying false charges, and conspiring to sentence him to death, and eventually even succeeding though only for a moment.

And as for Jesus, so also for his mystical Body the Church: Saul, Saul why do you persecute me!?  (Acts 9:4) Jesus warns us that the world would hate us (Luke 21:17; John 15:20); that in this world we would have tribulation (Jn 16:33), and that we should watch and pray lest we give way to temptation (Matt 26:41). He summons us to persevere to the end if we would be saved (Mk 13:13). Jesus rather vividly described the kind of struggle with which we live when he said From the time of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force (Matthew 11:12). Indeed, no Christian until the time that Jesus returns, can consider himself on leave or dismissed from this great spiritual battle, from this great drama that we exist in, this battle between good and evil.

Popular theme or not, we do well to remember that we are in the midst of a great cosmic and spiritual battle. And in that battle, we must be willing to choose sides and fight with the Lord for the Kingdom of God. Either we will gather with him or we will scatter. We are to fight for our own soul, and the souls of those whom we love.

In the holy week that is about to unfold, we are reminded once again of the great cosmic battle that the Lord waged, and that is still being waged in our time. Though already victorious, in his mystical Body the Church, the Lord in his faithful members still suffers violence, rejection, and ridicule. It is also for us to reclaim territory from the evil one, to take back what the devil stole from us. We are to advance the glory of God’s Kingdom through the fruits of great spiritual struggle, sacrifice, prayer, fasting, preaching, and an extensive missionary campaign to which the Lord has summoned and commissioned us.

The battle is on; the struggle is engaged! To spiritual arms one and all! Fight the good fight for the Lord.

Still not convinced we are at war? Let the Lord pull back the veil just a bit and let you look at what’s really going on. The final words of this article will not be mine; they will be the Lord’s. Here is described the cosmic battle that is responsible for most of the suffering and confusion you experience:

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers who accuses them before our God day and night,has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. (Rev 12)

Are You Really a Christian?

If so ... Are you aware that the fiercest war in the history of the Cosmos is at fever pitch right now? It is more real than a physical war. It's the real thing, spiritual. And the outcome is eternal.

 

THIS IS YOUR ASSIGNMENT …. Should you choose to accept it.

You live in the most extraordinary time in all of history. 

You have been called to put yourself completely under God’s authority because He has placed you in this place at this time for a specific purpose for which He created you. 

You cannot fulfill that purpose unless you make it the single most important driving force in your life. You have very little time, especially if you are not really ready and up to the task.

What is the task? 

Your task is to know the Bible so well that the right verses immediately come to mind when you need them to do your job. Your job is to bring as many people into the Kingdom as possible because this is the last hour. Uppermost in your mind during every waking hour should be witnessing, offering HOPE to the otherwise eternally lost and dying. Your job is also to affirm and build up your fellow Christians so that they, too, comprehend why they are here, and to what purpose.

In order to accomplish the above, it will be imperative that you access the POWER and AUTHORITY which you have in Jesus Christ. You will be required to REBUKE the dark side and the evil and sin which has overtaken this world.

What is your prayer life like?

You must set aside a time EVERY SINGLE MORNING - at least an hour - to spend with the Lord. If you are not willing to devote 1/24th of your day to your Creator and Savior, you are not fit for the task.  You need to PRAY, to seriously pray for God's Will (not your wlll) in everything you do. And you must not only talk to Him. You need to LISTEN to what He has to tell you, because you will read His Word during that hour, and He will speak to you through His Word.

As a result of at least an hour with the Lord each morning you will be placing accessible Biblical truth IN you ... and OPERATIVE throughout your day. This will give you DISCERNMENT ... POWER ... AUTHORITY.

You will do this every single day - with purpose, with commitment, with obedience and devotion, with love and with determination. Nothing can be more important. You must take it SERIOUSLY. Refuse to allow anything to interfere with this priority. 

No more excuses. The stakes are too high. 

God has chosen you of all the people in history ... for his specific purpose in this last day.

Jesus came to earth deliberately in order to die for your sins. Now he is resurrected, sitting at the right hand of the Father at this moment, preparing to act upon his legal right to execute judgment on the fallen angels (some of whom are here right now), and on the wickedness of this planet, to close the times of the Gentiles, and then to exercise Israel's tribulation (the 'time of Jacob's trouble') in order to bring those of the Jewish remnant to their knees, so that they can finally recognize their Messiah, and then to set up his kingdom - the House of David - in Jerusalem and rule on earth. This is his eternal plan. 

Are you a real Christian? Ask the Holy Spirit to help and guide you. HE WILL.

Can you do this for Jesus? 

All of heaven is waiting in the wings ...  watching to see what you will do.

There is only one kind of real freedom, and it is the freedom of the mind ... the spirit ... the soul. That is the part of you they seek to own, but if you are sold out to Jesus Christ they can never own you. They may be able to control your body - the physical - and that's what they hate, because although the 'elite' don't get it, to those beings who are in control and do understand it, this whole thing is about your soul. This is spiritual warfare.  Members of the NWO ruling crowd have sold their souls, and they will lose their bodies, too. It's called eternal death.

Remember Paul when he was in prison, as so many Christians have been. Yet he had perfect peace and joy. And no fear. The evil ones couldn't touch him in his spirit and soul where it counts.

You'll overcome anything if you keep your mind, spirit and soul free. It's not about national freedom. The important freedom and liberty they cannot touch. 

Don't confuse national patriotism with faith in God. That is where America got off the track, by insisting it was a Christian country, by mixing faith and patriotism - America ... Germany ... fill in the blank - "my country right or wrong." All that ever gets you is tyranny, as we are seeing. Open your eyes and recognize that America is the home of the spirit of antichrist. Our military is his military. Our government is his government - filled with Luciferian satanists and their flunkies.

It's time for Americans to grow up, accept the realities and get into the real war - the one with eternal consequences. If you read the Bible you will know that all of this is God's will - is that okay with you American Christians?! The Lord is in control. We are not. Let's get on His side and get with His program. (Otherwise he will spew us out of his mouth.)

Have we finally figured out that the U.S. is in Bible prophecy? Just not where we imagined it should be. Nations come and go. Eternal things do not. 

...... the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  Romans 8:21,22 

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Now go have a nice barbecue ... think on these things ... and drink a toast to real liberty - in Christ. After all, we have real cause to celebrate. We know how this ends.

Are You Engaged In The Battle?

Non-Combatants

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13. The Greek word “hymeis” is translated into English as ye, you, or yourselves. Jesus is telling the group of listeners before Him that they (we) are the salt of the earth. Notice how Jesus explains to the group before Him that “if” we become ineffective as the salt of the earth we also become good for nothing? To be trodden under foot of men? The word “trodden” comes from the Greek word “katapateō” and metaphorically speaking it means to treat with rudeness and insult. Whether we stand firm with Christ or we cower in a corner, the lost of this world will still abuse us and treat us offensively; unless, of course, the world sees us simply as one of their own. When we lose our saltiness (effectiveness as Christians) we become more and more secular, eventually embracing various forms of evil in order to fit in and get along – we become non-combatants.

 

“Ye are the light of the world; A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14. We, as Christ’s followers, are mandated to follow His commands – even in this late hour. As the light of the world it is our responsibility to reflect the light of Christ to a lost and perishing world. “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Matthew 5:15. Has your candle gone out? Have you become a non-combatant?

“…for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.” Matthew 13:21. The Greek word “skandalizō”, translated offended, means to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one whom he ought to trust and obey - to cause to fall away. Persecution can be a horrible cross to bear – but bear it we must. If you are not being persecuted, if you aren’t feeling the heat of battle from the powers and principalities, from the rulers of the darkness of this world, from spiritual wickedness in high places, it could be the enemy sees you as a non-combatant. 

When the enemy sees us (Christians) as a threat to his evil agenda, the ensuing persecution will be anything but peaceful. As long as we are on the firing line we will feel the enemy’s sting. No sting? Well then, you might need to do some soul searching as to whether or not you are even a threat to the enemy. Non-combatant Christians can be easily discouraged, and even defeated. In other words, their Christian walk becomes of non-effect. When relegated to the category of non-combatant, Christians are no longer pursued and persecuted by the malevolent supernatural realm. 

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:1-2. At some point in our past we were dead, dead in our trespasses and sins, but no more. Those who follow Christ have been quickened (made alive, reborn, a new creation). Before we were quickened we belonged to Satan. He is the prince of the power of the air. When we escaped his camp – became followers of Jesus Christ – his hatred for us grew in extreme measure and his attacks on us will continue to intensify according to our faithful resolve. When we became born again we moved into the direct line of fire of the most extreme nemesis of God – Satan. For some, the heat is too intense and they’ve chosen to sit this war out as non-combatants. 

Christians are a huge walking billboard with a massive bull’s eye painted on them in plain sight of the supernatural realm, both benevolent and malevolent. Our malevolent enemy is transfixed on destroying us, while the benevolent forces of God stand ready to defend us with all tenacity. The Christian that has said in his/her heart they are content with life the way it is, who see no reason or benefit in promoting the Gospel, have had that bull’s eye obscured. Actually, they have something that the enemy promotes as highly beneficial. That would be apathy.

When I receive letters telling me of the battles that other Christians are facing and enduring, I’m always very encouraged. I know they are out there on the front lines, sacrificing themselves while telling others about Jesus. They tell me of the attacks from the forces of evil, yet they remain strong in their faith. But it saddens me when I receive letters from Christians who have given up spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Losing one’s drive when it comes to evangelizing is the same as a lack of hope and should be seen as a demonic ruse. 

I’ve been told by some readers that those who’ve rejected Christ are so blinded that nothing will change their minds. That erroneous opinion would certainly mean the Holy Spirit has left the building. No. What has happened is many Christians have swallowed the enemy’s deceptions hook, line, and sinker; they’ve given up. To them the war is lost. They don’t know how to distinguish a battle from all out war. They are now content to sit out the remainder of their days in an enemy-imposed form of Christian isolation while they divest themselves from the Great Commission. 

Christians, we have been given a firm commandment. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20. That commandment, given to us by the Creator of the universe Himself, Jesus Christ, has never been rescinded. As His followers we must realize that when our Creator tells us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations He’s not merely suggesting we go out and witness to the world, and Jesus isn’t simply asking for our help to tell the lost world that salvation is only through Him. He’s commanding us to get out in the trenches and follow His orders – to the letter. It must sadden our Lord that, after what He has done for us, many of His followers aren’t willing to stand up for Him in the heat of battle. 

Yes, at times the heat from the battle will grow intense, even painful, especially during these last days. The enemy has ratcheted up his attacks and here in America the persecution is manifesting at levels never seen before. But my brethren, we must take a stand and not cower. Surrender is not an option. What side do you want to be on? There’s a winning side and a side that has already lost. You know what side wins so why hang back?

Most people have no clue as to the urgency of the hour. Most Christians similarly view the signs of the times as mere blips on a radar screen, soon to disappear and everything will return to normal. Tomorrow will bring a better day. Those of us who see mankind as currently living in the last days of planet earth see those signs quite differently. 

Tomorrow will be bringing more pain and suffering, and with each passing day that pain and suffering is growing exponentially worse. There will come a day when our ability to speak the truth of God’s word will be greatly diminished. It has just come to my attention that here in America it is now against the law to pray in front of the White House. Our freedom of speech is being trampled on. What’s the next freedom to get the boot? Freedom to worship the God of the Bible? Of course, that loss of freedom my not affect the non-combatant.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. Right now, today, opportunities abound to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to glorify God our Father in Heaven. However, your witness is not merely verbal, but also it shows in how you live your Christian life. Do you walk the walk or merely talk the talk? You can speak volumes without opening your mouth simply through living a Christ centered life and by not compromising your faith. But when your life demonstrates a pattern of secular choices, and even a humanistic world view, that tells everyone who is watching you (and believe me there are plenty lost folks watching you) that there is no difference between you and them. Why would they (the lost and perishing of this world) want what you have when you show no sign that you have anything more than what they already possess? As the born again children of God, we mustn’t give in and be non-combatant when it comes to standing firm on God’s word. We always need to be seen and perceived as being different (a reflection Christ) than those who are of this world.

 

“Let the others do the promoting of the Gospel; that’s not what God had in store for me”. If that is your attitude you are living a life contrary to the commandments of your King. When the enemy sees your determination in avoiding the work God commands you to do he can then put out a memorandum concerning future attacks on you to all of his horde – pursue not, it’s only a non-combatant. 

On the other hand if you still love the Lord keep His commandments – be more than a conqueror. “…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37. Christ’s Ekklesia will soon be removed from planet earth and will no longer be a witness to the lost. A question we must all ask ourselves before that great day arrives is “What have I done for Jesus?”

Trouble in "ET" City?

My, my, my ... the entities are caught up in a battle royal within their ranks, splitting into factions and hurling insults and accusations at each other. After several months of hints and veiled irritation with each other it has now broken out into all-out war! It's quite fascinating to watch, but not surprising except to the extent that it has taken this long to evidence itself.

Or could all this be a guise ...  in order to divide and conquer those who are finally leaning in the direction of not buying their line? After all, anyone who has studied the world of the occult and demonic sees quite clearly that Lucifer's favorite strategy is the Hegelian dialectic. I imagine its very genesis was in his brilliantly deceptive mind. So I am appropriately suspicious of this "War of the Demon Spirits."

If we aren't careful ... we might tend to take sides between the warring entities. Hmmm. No matter which side won our sympathy, we would still be sympathizing with the Enemy, would we not? Because there are really only two sides in this spiritual war - God's or Lucifer's.

On the other hand, one would expect to find division, spitefulness and hatred in the ranks of evil.  Discord and confusion are their hallmarks. Surely no one labors under the delusion that the Abyss is a place of love, peace and unity among its inhabitants. And, after all, things haven't been going well for them for a long time in this war. They can feel so many things slipping from their grasp.

So let this serve as a reminder that whether this warfare is genuine or a ruse - either way - these beings all remain in the enemy camp.

Sometimes evil is so fascinating. But still evil.

That's why discernment is so essential.

Has The Lord Forgotten Us?

NO!

Right now we Christians are on center stage. The spotlight is on us. We are the only reason that all hell hasn't broken loose on earth ... because it's ready to do just that.

If you could see across that thin veil that separates us from the other dimensions you would see that we are being watched with great interest by the largest audience in the history of the entire cosmos. 

God, of course, who knows each one of us, and every thought we have, is watching us. The angels are waiting to see what will happen next, and specifically how you and I will react to each of the final steps leading up to the great Tribulation period. The angels are very busy, too - attending to us in our needs - as they did when Paul was in prison for instance. The saints of all ages have their eyes on us - yes, even those who have died and have not yet had their bodies raised; they are watching. They have a huge stake in this, too, and are no doubt excited beyond words, doing such things as wondering how God decided to choose each one of us specifically to live on earth at this cosmic moment. They are awaiting the resurrections of their own bodies, when they will meet us in the atmosphere.

And Christ is eagerly awaiting His bride - the Church.

We are also being watched by Satan and his team, some of who are waiting to get out of the dimensional pit in the middle of earth in order to play their final dastardly roles. There are also millions upon millions of demonic presences 'in the air,' and there are also millions right here on earth, many embodied in those humans of power in politics, religion, the media, the militaries, and in other positions of influence. Some entities are desperately trying to 'get in' on the action - they are courting the New Age people around the clock - but some of those people are beginning to get a little leery about those lying spirits, even though they attempt to lure with  words so sweet that honey drips from whatever passes as their lips.

You might say that the population of the entire Cosmos is parked right above (and below) the earth ... as near as they can get until God gives the Word that dimensions may be crossed. His Word reigns above all. When He says the Word, the Church and Satan's People will be as ships literally passing in the night. It's going to be a very busy moment.

Yes, we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Other than the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, this is the absolute culmination of God's Plan. Literally everyone is watching. Think of it as the Spiritual Super Bowl if that helps. (Whatever works, for the pragmatists.)

Therefore, we should not be preoccupied about earthly things any more than circumstances require, even though they may be screaming at us for attention. They are merely distractions. There is absolutely no need for fear. This should be a time of unparalleled anticipation for the things that are about to take place! Those watching are giving us more support than any group of people in history has received. 

Except the enemy camp ... which hates us beyond all human comprehension. This is the very reason we need to keep our spiritual powder dry and our full armor on, clean and shiny, soon to be replaced by white linen robes of righteousness. The enemy would love to see us dead, dead, dead - but will settle for gone, gone, gone.

We - the Christians - are the huge impediment to their plans. Apparently we have caused them even more trouble than they had anticipated. Keep up the good work! So never tire, never fear, never get bogged down with the cares of life, never take your eyes off our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ - and make excellent use of every minute and every circumstance in which you find yourself, sharing the Gospel and snatching unbelievers right out of the fire. You are being prayed for by Heaven itself, where our conversation is (or certainly should be).

Yes ... we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses! Make them proud of your faith and commitment; it will bring glory to God since it is through Him that we live, and breathe, and have our being. Your reward waits for you.

I've waited my whole life for this moment. I've always known I would be right here ... right now. It's the greatest honor I could ever dream of to be a part of the Church of the Last Day! 

We can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. 

The battle was already won at the cross. We have just a few last skirmishes. Remember, the Lord is not only watching - he's with us. He will sustain us. Keep your eye and focus on Jesus Christ, who has promised never to leave us or forsake us.

Frantic Chaos in The Ranks of The Dark Side?

I discern that the leagues of Satan are up against a time deadline that seems so impossible for them to achieve, that they are almost desperate. It's something that had never before occurred to me, but now makes me wonder just how possible their actual failure might be in what they hope to accomplish and how much more difficult it might be than they had anticipated.  This entire blog is simply my own personal sense of things, but I thought it might be interesting to write it down.

They are years behind their timeline goals. At least four years ago the global financial collapse should have been an accomplished fact, along with an established world government and religion (that front has been mighty quiet lately). Also, a number of major cities in the world were scheduled for destruction 3-4 years ago.

What is so fascinating to me is not that they are so far behind schedule, but the contemplation of the nature of the causes, the reasons for this. I almost get the impression that they wonder if total failure is a possibility for them. But, of course, that is impossible according to scripture. They will have their day, but it will be a shorter day than anticipated. No wonder the Devil comes in his wrath, "knowing that his time is short." That verse is becoming very understandable.

So, I get the distinct impression that their plans are in tatters, that nothing is going in their favor. Of course there are many - the majority of the populace on earth - who we know will fall under their control. But I sense a couple of problems they are having.

First, these spirits are bound by the free will of humanity. They cannot legally force anyone to do anything (until the individual has yielded his will to the Luciferian forces). And, at least in the United States, it appears that even the New Agers are not wanting to yield their wills over to these entities. Some do, of course, and are totally sold out to them. But I find it endlessly fascinating that most (it seems to me) are suspicious of their motives, as well they should be. People are not the pushovers that I might have expected, or that the demonic forces no doubt expected.

Second, this is the largest operation/battle in world history, and this is the first time the Luciferian forces have ever had to cope with the consequences of the cross in a world battle.

As I understand it, the full forces of evil cannot come and inhabit the world until a certain percentage of humanity asks them in. And they do not have that quota. It is their right to descend (or ascend) to earth on 12/21/12 no matter what. But, they are prevented from coming sooner unless they have their quota. And on that front they have problems.

In all past ages there have been a few righteous on the earth, but the majority have always been pagan - and those were in the devil's pocket, so to speak. But, in this age, while there are many pagans in the world, the forces of Jesus Christ and His Church carry a vast amount of power ... power with which the demons have never before had to fully contend. Today even the pagan countries have major movements of Christianity: China, the Asian and Indian countries, even thousands of Muslims are coming to Jesus Christ. And the U.S., even with all of its corruption and evil, has a mighty force of the Holy Spirit in the true Church - in spite of all the apostasy going on. This nation has always been seen to be a problem for them - but I think they have been overwhelmed by the extent to which this is the case. They are getting push-back.

Thirdly, I believe their ability to retaliate on Christians is being curbed. At the same time, there is no doubt that many are persecuted and dying for the cause of Christ. This has always been the case. Yet, God's arm of protection at this stage of the game is holding the evil forces in check. There will come a time when that protection will be removed and His wrath will descend upon earth.

Fourth, prayer. There must be a lot of prayer being offered at the Throne. God answers prayer.

So, there are contingencies in play here, and it is my belief that while the total time frame established by God cannot be changed (by anyone except God himself), there is flexibility in what may or may not happen up until everyone runs headlong into God's deadline, a factor which appears to be kept from both sides. The satanic forces are just as subject to God's timing as we are.

Once again, I count it a high privilege and honor to live in this signal time in cosmic history. Nothing could be more exciting. It's the epitome of abundant living - at least in Carole's World :-)

The battle is the Lord's.

Letter From Former New Ager Concerning Crystal Skulls

Hello Steve [Steve Quayle]

I have a friend forward me your articles on the Crystal Skulls, because I have a background in the New Age movement (long story, I was searching for answers, I repented and went off to become a Carmelite monk, but they had their own issues, so now I'm out here with everyone else, trying to stop the madness).

Anyway, I can pretty much confirm everything Alexander Backman wrote to you about these cursed machinations. The reason I'm not just letting it go at that is that I fear most people reading about them have absolutely no appreciation of just how evil or powerful these things are.

The poor misguided fools who believe bringing these things together will hasten a golden age of benevolance for mankind, are simply just stupid or insane. If you look into the history of each of the skulls individually, they are very dark, and for every one "perceived" good that can be associated with them, there are many times more "bad" things that have been associated with them.

First off, crystals do have a power to them; this isn't magic, it’s science. I use to be a fire control tech in the navy, and worked on radar systems; the key substance used to turn electrical energy into radar waves is... common quartz crystal! The size, cut, clarity, etc will determine the frequency of the waves to be propagated. Sort of just like the crystal radio sets we tinkered with as kids...

So now you have 13 items of varying types of quartz, each with a different shape, density, size, etc. each "Graven" by means undefinable by modern science, which just happens to be a mockery of man made in God's image... By the way, you realize that the common computer chip which is capable of storing so much data is created out of pretty much the same stuff as quartz?

Also, a few years back there was experiments to use crystals as computer chips, because they could store exponentially more data,

I understand it was curtailed because silicon chips became so cheap to manufacture. These Skulls were Graven for a very real purpose, its not like they were created to pay homage to the dead, or as a nick knack or decoration. The ancients knew quite a bit about crystal's ability to store, transmit and amplify energy. Heck if it’s all they had back then, they probably knew a lot more about it than we do...

But it goes beyond the item itself. I have no idea what you know of ley lines and vortices. To oversimplify it, let’s just say the planet Earth has its own natural "power grid" fueled by geomagnetics and geothermal dynamics. What is important, is there is a grid of energy that encompasses our planet, very similar to the pattern produced by the Longitude and Latitude system we know. The lines of power are called Ley Lines; where they intersect another is referred to as a vortex. Whether you believe in this doesn't matter so much, but the ancient peoples did. Stonehenge, The Pyramids at Giza, The Bermuda Triangle, Sedona, AZ., Machu Pichu, Cahokia! Are all Vortices, or rather were built on top of a vortex... a little too coincidental huh?

Now, back to the Crystal Skulls for a moment. If you have ever seen one, they are creepy as hell. I worked with crystals in the new age, and knew quite a few other crystal workers, none of us had a crystal skull, not even the modern made ones; we just instinctlively knew there was something wrong with that. See, even us poor misguided new agers (well the ones I knew) knew there was something wrong or too risky or too creepy about them.

Using a crystal as a "tool" is akin to training a dog; over time the crystal gets "programmed" for whatever you use it for, and in time it sort of builds up a memory so to speak, and even retains a static energy related to what you use it for. These skulls were used to communicate with DEMONICS. They were used for some very dark occult magic, by some people who believed Lucifer or fallen angels were their god. They were used in human sacrifices, in wars, in conjuring demons, in conjuring curses, in blood rites, in what we would today call Black Masses! The fact some kindly little old cookie baking grandmother owns one today doesn't mean they are harmless, or poor inferior decorating accutrements, these are cursed black magic tools used in ceremonies not known of since Christ walked the Earth.

Now, some very evil false god worshipping Luciferians have brought them all together, in our country, and have convinced a lot of fools that by taking these abominations to vortices across our country, and performing ancient ceremonies to fallen angels is a good thing???

Steve, Mr. Backman is not only correct in his warning to you and your readers, but the potential for true evil may not fully be appreciated here! Please, you must immediately put out a call to prayer and fasting against the evil these things are doing. Pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ for guidance, but this whole crystal skull fiasco is the spiritual equivalent of locking a monkey with a hammer in a room full of nuclear warheads and vials of bio weapons.

I'll leave you with one closing thought, ages ago some people who were far more familiar with the power and abilities of these things, took possession of them, and scattered and hid them all over the world... They sacrificed their lives to hide these things from mankind. So there might just be more going on here, than an interesting story.
