Only Turkey Can Establish The Caliphate

The declaration by the top Sunni Muslim scholar Sheikh Yususf al-Qaradawi that the caliphate in Iraq lead by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is null and void under Sharia law since it doesn’t comport and it is not centered in Turkey sets a prophetic stage for what is to come and what we have been saying all along.

Qaradawi is no small fry, he is the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, he is the Khomeini of the Sunnis, and his declaration is not something to be ignored:
“We look forward to the coming, as soon as possible, of the caliphate,” Qaradawi said, of the form of pan-Muslim government last seen under the Ottoman Empire.
“But the declaration issued by the Islamic State is void under Sharia and has dangerous consequences for the Sunnis in Iraq and for the revolt in Syria,” he added.

The Arab media is all over this. Its not the ISIS that is most significant and while the eyes of the world focuses on it, it needs to pay attention that on the near horizon, the Turkish based Ottoman Empire is more noteworthy than al-Baghdadi’s declaration.

Turkey in Asia Minor cannot be ignored; it was the center of the Grecian Kingdom, the cradle of Christianity with its Seven Churches, as well as it was the eastern leg of the Roman Empire. It sits as a hub between East and West and plays the number one candidate in peace negotiations in the region. When it comes to animosity towards Israel and the Church, Turkey is the epicenter with more Christian blood on its hands then any other nation on earth.

Indeed, is it logical that Al-Baghdadi’s version of the Caliphate could persuade all Muslims in the Balkans and the Caucasus, Azerbaijan and Iran?

As we stated previously, The Caliph must a Sufi Muslim, someone who will succeed in reviving the Ottoman glory days, unite Sunni and Shiite and only Turkey has such a model and a major regional presence with significant global standing and respect. The Iraqi model of the Caliphate has set the stage for a Caliphate competition. This is why Al-Qaradawi finally had to declare what he declared.
In Istanbul, Turkey a Caliphate nostalgia for the Ottoman Empire has been on the rise as of late. The Ottoman Sultan’s seal can be found on T-shirts, advertisements, and jewelry everywhere in its old imperial capital of Istanbul. More alarmingly, the jihadists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are now proclaiming a new Islamic caliphate in former Ottoman provinces.
The Turkish newspaper Today’s Zaman had this to say:
“Therefore it is no coincidence to observe that some of the followers of Erdoğan believe he is a caliph who seeks to resurrect the Islamic Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire. It is no coincidence that Erdoğan’s target of “The Great Turkey” is intended to be completed in 2023 …”
The Jerusalem Post had this to say:
“Many commentators claimed that Erdogan’s recent foreign policy setbacks in the Arab world convinced him to abandon neo-Ottomanism in favor of more modest goals. But his cultivation of Iraqi Kurdistan, and his sponsorship of ISIS, al-Nusra, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas tell a different story. Erdogan remains an Islamic imperialist. Like Iran he aims to destroy the global order and replace it with an Islamic empire.”
As we have always stated, Turkey and Iran will unite, soon. The Jerusalem Post had also this to say:
“While Turkey and Iran are rivals in undermining the international system, their goals are the same, and their strategies for achieving their goals are also similar.”
Erdogan is silent on the ISIS even though the ISIS declared a caliphate in southern Turkey. He is silent because he sees an opportuinity. Turkey’s authority and opportunities in the Middle East will assume the role of mediator in the matter of Sunni-Shiite divide which must ultimately be the goal in order to establish peace.

Turkey is a more stable state than Iraq with less internal problems and is always willing to intervene in regional crises and conflicts.

Even Jesus insisted that Pergamum (Turkey) in Revelation 2:12-13, was the seat of Antichrist and not the gymnastically altered interpretation for an archeological relic that sits in Berlin or the fanciful SciFi version of Left Behind. It is Turkey who will use the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood as we see them today using Qaradawi and it will ultimately invade Egypt:
“He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. 43He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Cushitese in submission.” (Daniel 11:42)
Ezekiel in chapter 30 also tells us of that day “For the day is near, even the Day of the Lord is near” (Ezekiel 30:3) What nations are dealt with on that day? Not all scholars agree on the context, yet this is the Day of the Lord in which Cush and Phut, Lydia [Turkey] and all Arabia, Libya and the people of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with Egypt (Ezekiel 30:5). Other prophecies show these nations are cast into Hell, including Asshur – “Iraq – Syria”, (Ezekiel 32:22-23) Elam – “Iran” (Ezekiel 32:24-25) Meshech & Tubal “Asia minor -Turkey” (Ezekiel 32:26) – Edom – “Arabia” (Ezekiel 32:29). These are punished for striking terror against Israel and the believers (Ezekiel 32:22-24 & 27).
We tell Qaradawi to not hold his high hopes up, for Christ Himself will enter Egypt to destroy it:
“See Jehovah rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them.” (Isaiah 19)
the new emerging superpower is the arising sick man of Europe, the wounded beast that is coming back to life under the Turkish Neo-Ottoman revival. Turkey’s reviving empire must have an Iranian alliance to look like a lamb with two horns, and speaking like a dragon, the Islamic Turkish-Iranian dragon with its two horns will create a pincer against Israel with Iran’s horn from the East and a Turkish-Syrian horn from the North.

This is a much more dangerous scenario for Israel than Arab nationalism, or the Islamic Caliphate in Iraq, since Turkey holds the second strongest army in NATO after the U.S. and Islam can add non-Arab Muslim nations to the mix of new enemies. Turkey will lure Israel with a 7 years covenant of death (Isaiah 28:14-22) and a treaty will be signed in Egypt thinking it preserved the Egypt-Israel Camp David accord. By this “peace” Turkey “will deceive many” and “Islam” will appear as “a peaceful religion”.

Turkey and Iran are steeped in their hatred not only towards Israel, but the days for Saudi Arabia’s end is on the horizon and will be punished by the reviving beast as God will ordain it (Revelation 17:17). It was Saudi Arabia that sparked anti-Semitism from the advent of Islam until now. Arabia (Sheba and Dedan) despite that it will no longer see Israel as threat and while it stands by when Turkey invades Israel (Ezekiel 38), it will eventually be demolished by Elam (Iran) (see Isaiah 21) and Mecca and Medina will go up in flames (Isaiah 34).

Zechariah 9 confirms the final battle between Israel and Yavan (often translated as Greece), which is Asia Minor (see Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible commentary). Messiah will head to that direction of Turkey (v14) and defeat it and victory will be to The Lord. Amen and Amen.

Exposed: The Formula for Islamic Takeover

This is a very important article
By Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack

The word “Democracy” has become increasingly and deceptively powerful. It has come to be seen as something on par with “freedom” and “justice.” It has been the fuel for the very inaptly named ‘Arab Spring.’ Democracy and freedom are not synonymous terms. They don’t mean the same thing at all. The forces at work that support the ‘Arab Spring’ know this but they don’t want the world to know it. After all, war is deception.

The now infamous ‘Bush Doctrine’ evolved from a policy that gave the United States the right to preemptively defend itself to something that sought the promotion of Democracy all across the Middle East. This policy of Democracy was applied to Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Gaza Strip. The result has been far less than spectacular. Afghanistan has written a Constitution that identifies Islamic law as the law of the land. Ditto Iraq, which has also, essentially, become annexed by Iran. Gaza, after being handed over to the Palestinians, democratically elected Hamas to lead it.

Democracy birthed religious tyranny. Does that sound like a formula for freedom and justice?

Since George W. Bush left office, the Middle East has eagerly co-opted and embraced his doctrine, implementing it on its own terms. In Egypt, the country overwhelmingly elected the Muslim Brotherhood to have more seats in Parliament than any other Party and will soon decide if the country will have a Muslim Brotherhood President or one who was Prime Minister under Hosni Mubarak. The “Democratic” uprising that took place in Egypt will give them more of the same or something much worse. Perhaps this offers some insight into why Bush recently doubled down on his doctrine in a Wall Street Journal Op-ed, in which he wrote positively about the ‘Arab Spring’ while encouraging people to ‘embrace freedom’ in the Middle East.

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has laughably identified its political arm as the Freedom and Justice Party. Like the ‘Arab Spring,’ the term does not in any way, shape, matter or form accurately identify the Party. On the contrary, ‘Freedom and Justice’ is antithetical to what the Brotherhood stands for, especially for those who are not Muslim.

In Democracy, the majority rules but what if the majority wishes to subjugate or persecute the minority? It’s still Democracy but is that freedom and justice for all built on a foundational belief that all men are created equal? Hardly. Conversely, what if a minority is in power that seeks to control the majority, in part, to prevent its own subjugation or persecution? This was the case in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and it is the case in Bashar al-Assad’s Syria.

When Kurds in the Qamishli Province rose up against Assad and the Arabist Ba’ath in the spring of 2004 and were slaughtered, Syrian Arabs of all stripes remained quiet. What about the Libyan Berbers, black African Sudanese and the Kurds in Turkey and Iraq? Hundreds of thousands have been massacred. As Gadhafi was fending off rebels in Libya, US Senator John McCain walked past the main courthouse in Benghazi to cheers from Libyan rebels. Two weeks earlier, rebels had hung a black man upside down and beheaded him at that very site. It was during this visit that McCain referred to those rebels as his ‘heroes,’ presumably because they were clamoring for Democracy.

Apparently, it’s easier to get away with beheading black Libyans if you do so in the name of Democracy. Since then, there has been an overwhelming abundance of Al-Qaeda flags flying all over post-Gadhafi Libya.

Let freedom ring, right Mr. McCain? Does calling it ‘Democracy’ help you sleep better?

Where was Senator McCain, a staunch advocate of supporting the Sunni rebels in Syria (he obviously hasn’t learned from his mistake in Libya), when Syria was against freedom in Lebanon?

Is it only freedom for Sunni Islamists? The majority? If the Assad regime is toppled, non-Arabs such as Kurds in Syria and the Copts in Egypt, will be massacred by Arabists/Islamists. Perhaps these massacres will be the desire of the majority but it is a self-evident truth that there will not be freedom and justice for all. The Arab Ba’ath in neighboring Iraq killed hundreds of thousands of Kurds under Saddam over the years as well.

According to a new report in Germany’s leading daily, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), the recent Houla massacre in Syria was in fact committed by anti-Assad Sunni militants, and the bulk of the victims were members of the Alawi and Shia minorities, which have been largely supportive of Assad. For its account of the massacre, the report cites opponents of Assad who declined to have their names appear in print out of fear of reprisals from armed opposition groups.

According to the article’s sources, the massacre occurred after rebel forces attacked three army-controlled roadblocks outside of Houla. The roadblocks had been set up to protect nearby Alawi majority villages from attacks by Sunni militias. The rebel attacks provoked a call for reinforcements by the besieged army units. Syrian army and rebel forces are reported to have engaged in battle for some 90 minutes, during which time “dozens of soldiers and rebels” were killed.

Democracy is not an end in itself but this is what leftists and Islamists want the world to believe. In reality, Democracy is a means to an end and in the Middle East, that end inevitably involves religious tyranny.

As Bill Wilson explains at the Daily Jolt, Islamists have a formula that follows a consensus that Democracy is inherently and exclusively good. We have inserted a couple of steps into Wilson’s formula. Ours are in bold:
•Muslims begin protesting their evil leader
 •Evil leader cracks down
 •Muslims gain worldwide sympathy
 •Evil leader is deposed
 •US leaders suggest democracy
•Muslims use Muruna to suggest the Turkish Model of Islamic Democracy
•US / Western leaders oversee the transition to Islamic “Democracy” (moderate Islam)
•Islamic Sharia Law leaders are elected
 •Democracy is abandoned
 •Sharia Law is established

The Turkish Model is really the trojan horse the west continues to welcome. It allows western leaders to fool themselves into believing that there is a moderate version of Islam which embraces western values. This deceptive perception is so effective because it begins with a premise that eschews Islamic fundamentalism. In reality, that Islamic fundamentalism lays dormant as non-Muslims embrace it.

That is what makes muruna so effective; it is a technique very similar to the Shiite tactic known as taqiyya. Muruna is the Sunni / Muslim Brotherhood version. When practiced, it allows Muslims to abandon the very tenets of their faith if it lowers the guard of others. As a result, Islam is advanced. Turkey has also been very successful at minimizing the tumultuous change that has taken place within its walls over the last ten years. The very secular Kemalist government has been overthrown through… you guessed it, Democracy.

Every one of the countries that have seen dictators fall as a result of the ‘Arab Spring’ subsequently began to look glowingly at the example set by Turkey, which has basically watched as these nations have essentially come to them, all in the name of Democracy. An undeniable fringe benefit is that the West has facilitated much of it, particularly in Egypt and Libya, as Turkey has expended little capital while reaping what it no doubt believes will be huge, future returns.

A Fresh Look at Bible Prophecy

Walid Shoebat was a Muslim terrorist. In 1993 he was born again. He wrote a book in 2008, which I read. His interpretations of prophecy were stunning, and at the time I thought he was correct about many things of which we, as Westerners, are not aware. Our interpretation of prophecy reflects that ignorance, I think. However, I was very busy at the time and laid the book aside. Yesterday I accidentally ran across a video of his and remembered the book, which I pulled out to read again.

These videos are tremendous. If you are a student of prophecy, they are a 'must watch.'  They add a whole new dimension to understanding end-time prophecies and they have answered some questions that were coming to the forefront in my mind and causing some mental havoc. I think we may be further down the road than we may have thought. It has given me a new perspective from which to proceed.
He is a very entertaining speaker, too - an added bonus!
