But of course Lucifer cannot take credit for that brilliant mind, since the Lord God created him ... and his mind.
One can understand why God gives such descriptions of Lucifer, his most beautiful creation among the millions or billions of the angels. How tragic that sin was found in him. What a waste. Lucifer, because of his proud spirit, wasn't satisfied to be the most beautiful of all of God's created angels. He wanted to be God, to be worshipped and to replace God.
“ How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘ I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.
Isaiah 14:12-15
You and I would be no match whatever for his deceptions on our own. We wouldn't stand a chance. Fortunately, if we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are enabled to withstand. Ephesians 6:11 says, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil."
I have studied the plans of those who intend to rule the world. They have been written down in some detail in documents. These documents were to be kept secret, but they are available. However, very few people read them. Most people do not even know they exist. They are too busy following Angelina and Brad, being brainwashed by their favorite 'news' programs on cable, or going to watch "Avatar" without a clue. (I have no problem with doing any of those things after your mind is worn out from praying and studying scripture :-)
I was reading one of the documents outlining the plans of the 'rulers of the world' just this past week and was truly taken aback by the brilliant deception of their very lengthy and detailed intentions. It was crystal clear to me that only Lucifer himself could have planned such strategies as those he has given to those who worship him - and they do worship him. Literally. Rituals, sacrifices. The same type of worship that was given to Baal, Osiris, and the rest the ancient gods is actually being done today, something most people would find impossible to believe in the 21st Century. (That's exactly why they are getting away with it.) Believe it.
The best thing Satan has going for him is that people don't believe he exists. What irony. He has been running governments for centuries, and he has it down to a science. Those rulers of the world who worship him are true believers. They plan to rule the world as he has promised them. And they will ... for a brief moment. And, believe me, you don't want to live through that moment.
Get ready to become very familiar with those pagan gods, especially Apollo, Osiris and Horus. And don't forget Isis and the feminine gods. If you watch certain cable channels they show all this all the time. Indoctrination and preparation are constantly being done for the masses. And yet, have you heard about any of it? Unless you are personally a Bible student and take a particular interest in 'knowing,' (as Hollywood has so carefully prepared people) no one is preparing you for the most important battle in all of your life and in all of world history.
Satan transforms himself into an angel of light and a master of deception. "... and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Hopefully that includes you, and you need to be prepared "...lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices."
If you are serious about who you worship, and where you want to end up, you will be preparing yourself according to Ephesians 6: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." That's what we're up against, the most formidable of all foes. But we have our instructions and our marching orders.
This is what is on the very verge of happening:
"So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.......Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
I expect that 2012 is an important date in Lucifer's devious plans.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16. Don't be a sheep without a shepherd. The Good Shepherd himself is available. He's only a prayer away.
Dust off that Bible and get that armor on. Your life depends on it.
