Shamanism – Spiritual Blackmail

The phenomenon of spiritistic intimidation is common to all categories of occult­ism. Thus, shamans who are “chosen” by the spirits as “healers” must either submit to the spirits or become ill, or even die.

The person called to be a shaman must learn to shamanize, that is, must take his powerful experiences and find a way to share the power with his people. If he does not shamanize, he will become ill again and may die, for the shaman is called to a certain kind of life, and if he does not lead it properly, his power will turn against him and kill him.^[1]

In other words, to the spirits, human life is cheap. If their chosen host will not obey their wishes, they will destroy it and find another. Dr. Nandor Fodor discusses a similar condition among mediums. He observes that when a person neglects his mediumistic powers, illness results. Thus “mediumship, if suppressed, will manifest in symptoms of disease.”^[2] He cites the following illustration:

The spasms seized the whole body; even the tongue was affected, blocking the throat and nearly suffocating her. When the patient mentioned that in her youth she tried table tilting, the doctor thought of the possibility that the mediumistic energy might block his patient’s organism. A sitting was tried. The lady fell into trance and afterwards slept well for a few days. When the sleeplessness became worse again the sitting was repeated and the results proved to be so beneficial that the chloral hydrate treatment previously employed was discontinued.^[3]

This woman discovered that, like many shamans, she too had been “called” to her profession, and that unless she gave in to the process, she would suffer immea­surably.
Such spiritistic intimidation is common.^[4] Once the door has been broken down to permit spiritistic influence, whether by heredity, occult transfer, or personal choice, the spirits may aggressively pursue their evil agenda. Whether in mediumism, shamanism, or witchcraft, the person “has been caught by the spirits and must serve the spiritual world.”^[5] The following shamanistic examples, from Swiss psychologist, anthropologist, and ethnologist Holger Ralweit show the true nature of the spirits. These examples, which come from a chapter having the incredible title, “When Insanity Is a Blessing: The Message of Shamanism,” reveal how dangerous it is to open the doors to the occult, and why those trapped often find it so difficult to es­cape.^[6]

Among the Siberian Tofa, too, shamans become sick before their initiation and are tormented by spirits.... [Sjhaman Vassily Mikailovic ... could not rise from his bed for a whole year. Only when he agreed to the demands of the spirits did his health improve.^[7]

The wife of another shaman recalled the terrible experience of her husband’s call to shamanism. She warns, “He who is seized by the shaman sickness and does not begin to exercise shamanism, must suffer badly. He might lose his mind, he may even have to give up his life. Therefore he is advised, ‘You must take up shamanism so as not to suffer!’ Some even say, ‘I become a shaman only to escape illness.’” Another shaman added, “The man chosen for shamandom is first recognized by the black spirits. The spirits of the dead shamans are called black spirits. They make the chosen one ill and then they force him to become a shaman.”^[8] And a shamaness reports, “Sometimes I say to them, ‘I do not want to go with you.’ Whenever I turn down such an invitation I develop a fever and become very ill.”^[9]
Kalweit comments that, in harmony with occult healing generally, the “healer” must suffer the illness of the patient:

Resistance to psychophysical change and a disintegration of the normal structure of existence has always been part and parcel of the transformative process. Because of this, it forms at least a partial aspect of every rite of transformation.... Frequently the shaman enters a patient’s state so thoroughly that he himself experiences the symptoms and pains of the illness.... In the course of their painful existence, many shamans have physically experienced countless illnesses....^[10]

Either way, the shaman cannot win. If he pursues his spiritistic calling, he suffers. If he does not, he suffers. The shaman who refuses his call in all probability “will be plagued by sickness the rest of his life.”^[11] Even one’s own family members may be tortured by the spirits as a means of forcing compliance:

Often not only the shaman himself but his whole family are visited by misfortune.... The Koreans talk about a “bridge of people” (induri) that comes into being when a member of the family is chosen to be a shaman and another member has to die as a result of this.... A God has “entered into” the shaman and, in return, demands another human life.... But most families are unwilling to have a shaman in their circle, so the induri phenomenon occurs quite frequently. According to the investigations made by Cho Hung-Youn, indari occurs on average seven or eight times in every twenty cases of shamanic vocation.^[12]

In a parallel to life of famous trance medium Edgar Cayce, we read:

The Yakut shaman Tusput, who was critically ill for more than twenty years, could find relief from his suffering only when he conducted a séance during which he fell into a trance. In the end he fully regained his health by this method. However, if he held no séances over a long period of time he once again began to feel unwell, exhausted, and indecisive. In general, the symptoms of an illness subside when a candidate for shamanism enters a trance.^[13]

In the end, because of their power, the spirits will have their way. “In the end I became so ill that I was close to death. So I began to shamanize, and very soon my health improved. Even now I feel unwell and sick whenever I am inactive as a sha­man over a longer period of time.”^[14]
Clearly, horrible torments, paralysis, drownings, insanity, extended sickness, being maimed, poisoned, and worse are the shaman’s lot.^[15] Perhaps this explains why even those sympathetic to the practice may issue warnings. Dr. Jeanne Achterberg writes:

Any current thrust toward romanticizing shamanic medicine or folk medicine in general should be tempered with the knowledge that often the remedies prescribed were clearly wrong and harmful from the standpoint of physical well­being. Jilek-Aall describes birthing procedures dictated by custom in parts of Africa that defy the course of nature. The result is high infant mortality and a high incidence of epilepsy....

The practice of shamanism is always regarded as being fraught with grave risk to the life and well being of the practitioner.... One particularly dangerous aspect of shamanism, “soul raising” is almost always practiced by women....

A long standing debate has existed in anthropological writings on whether shamanism is a shelter for deranged personalities.^[16]

Psychopathology

The obvious reason for the debate over the shaman’s psychological health, as mentioned by Achterberg, is that shamanism usually involves the practitioner in psychotic and schizophrenic-like episodes.^[17] But because shamanism is now often interpreted as a form of “higher” spirituality by many psychologists, especially transpersonal psychologists, its accompanying mental states are also being reinter­preted in a benign fashion.
In other words, what was once considered a psychological state of depraved insanity is today considered a spiritual state of higher consciousness!^[18] What was once dangerous and feared is now preferred as a method of spiritual empowerment and enlightenment.^[19] As Achterberg writes, “Newer theories of personality develop­ment ... all include the notion that ‘normal’ [consciousness] is by no means the most evolved possibility.”^[20] The East has indeed come West: temporary insanity as a potentially higher or elevated state of consciousness is a premise of Hindu and Buddhist thinking, more than many people realize.^[21]
Of course, not all agree that states of insanity are spiritually desirable. “Among those most frequently cited are Devereux, who steadfastly maintains there is no excuse for not regarding the shamans as neurotic or even psychotic, and Silverman who likens the SSC [Shamanic State of Consciousness] to acute schizophrenia.”^[22]
One of the biggest problems that surrounds ethnopsychiatry, or “transcultural” psychiatry, is the confusion of normal and abnormal states of consciousness. Be­cause states of mental illness are considered “normal” in shamanistic and other subcultures, and because modern secular psychiatry and anthropology have no absolute standards by which to judge such things, many scholars are concluding that even occult-induced mental illness can be simply part of a continuum along the “normal” range of transpersonal consciousness.
The implications of this are anything but minor. Consider Michael Harner’s first experience with shaman initiation—an experience that resulted in his becoming a shaman. He employed the sacred drug made from ayahuasca plant or “soul vine”:

I could make out large numbers of people with the heads of blue jays and the bodies of humans, not unlike the bird-headed gods of ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. At the same time, some energy-essence began to float from my chest.... Although I believed myself to be an atheist, I was completely certain that I was dying and that the bird-headed people had come to take my soul away....

Starting with my arms and legs, my body slowly began to feel like it was turning to solid concrete. I could not move or speak. Gradually, as the numbness closed in on my chest, toward my heart, I tried to get my month to ask for help, to ask the Indians for an antidote. Try as I might, however, I could not marshal my abilities sufficiently to make a word. Simultaneously, my abdomen seemed to be turning to stone, and I had to make a tremendous effort to keep my heart beating.... I was virtually certain that I was about to die.... I was dying and therefore, [it was] “safe” [for me] to receive [new] revelations. These were the secrets reserved for the dying and the dead, I was informed. I could only very dimly perceive the givers of these thoughts: giant reptilian creatures.... I could only vaguely see them in what seemed to be gloomy, dark depth.

Then they projected a visual scene in front of me. First they showed me the planet earth as it was aeons ago.... [They said] they had come to planet earth to escape their enemy.

The creatures then showed me how they had created life on the planet in order to hide within the multitudinous forms and thus disguise their presence.... They were the true masters of humanity and the entire planet, they told me. We humans were but the receptacles and servants of these creatures....

I knew I had only a moment more to live. Strangely, I had no fear of the bird-headed people; they were welcome to have my soul if they could keep it....

[Later] I began to struggle against returning to the ancient ones, who were beginning to feel increasingly alien and possibly evil....

I frantically tried to conjure up a power being to protect me against the alien reptilian creatures.

One appeared before me; and at that moment the Indians forced my mouth open and poured the antidote into me.^[23]

When native or naive Americans seek out such encounters, on what basis does anyone logically conclude there will never be casualties? Harner himself admits people may go insane, “become seriously ill or even die” from shamanistic experi­ences.^[24] The number of people who might never come back from such experiences is unknown, but the risks are certainly not less than those encountered in mind-expanding drugs such as LSD.
It is true that the mental states of what may be termed “shamanic consciousness” and those of schizophrenia and psychosis are not entirely identical. The shaman often has more volition and control during his altered state of consciousness, and it is a “voluntarily” induced insanity similar to that found in the spiritistic Eastern guru traditions.^[25] Nevertheless, while this state is controlled to some degree by the sha­man, it seems to be controlled to a much larger degree by his spirit guides, and certainly it is manipulated by the spirits for their own purposes, whatever these might be. Regardless, the very fact of a debate among ethnopsychiatrists proves that the “state” of insanity and that of shamanistic consciousness are similar enough that they are not easily distinguished. Shamans themselves admit, “There is a fine line between the shaman and the psychotic.”^[26]
The unfortunate result for those who seek shamanistic states of consciousness is only that they will encounter their own demonically manipulated consciousness—and despite the claims of promoters, this is anything but “healthy” or spiritually “evolved.” Because shamanism requires spirit possession and because one cannot become a true shaman-healer without it, demon possession is also required. How many shamanistically fascinated Americans realize that?

Common Core Indoctrination: Buddhism

Common Core is a U.N. Agenda of the New World Order. Religion is its primary goal: the Luciferian Religion, which is based primarily on Eastern religions. The same thing has been introduced into the Roman Catholic Church and almost all of the Protestant churches, usually under the name of "centering prayer" and other guises which put the individual in direct contact with 'spirit guides' and/or 'another Jesus'. Parents are ultimately responsible to God for what their children are being taught in the government schools. Mindfulness and meditation on that truth is worth any parents' attention. Mindfulness, Buddhist Method of Indoctrination

If you are regrouping, in the massive effort necessary to mount an opposition to the Common Core national “standards” that are socialized dumbed-down education for the masses, add to your watch list Mindfulness Training.
An invitation to attend “Managing Stress:  How Mindfulness Training in Our Schools Can Benefit Students, Educators, and Parents” at the local high school in Fairfax, Virginia captured my attention. Congressman Tim Ryan of Ohio and author of “A Mindful Nation” is the featured speaker. The event on June 9, 2014 is advertised as a partnership between MINDS, The Josh Anderson Foundation, and Fairfax County Public Schools.

Various sites present mindfulness as a simple breathing meditation of 4-5 minutes at the start of every class, “replacing instant work demands with the expectations that students simply be.”  What is “simply be” and how do you replace work demands instantly by existing?  My indoctrination radar came on. I was not sure yet what “simply be” was, but I did find out that you can get a Master’s Degree in Mindful Studies.

The “secular” practice of mindfulness is “rooted” in Buddhism. Jon Kabat-Zinn established a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979. Myla Kabat-Zinn and Jon Kabat-Zinn wrote, “Learning to Breathe:  A Mindfulness Curriculum for Adolescents to Cultivate Emotion Regulation, Attention, and Performance.” As a former educator, the indication that emotion must be regulated into a perfectly attentive automaton bothered me because every child is an individual with a certain attention span, interest, emotion, and level of curiosity. How would calming a person make them excel in life?

Patricia C. Broderick, in “Learning to Breathe,” wrote that “meditation skills help students improve emotion regulation, reduce stress, improve overall performance, and develop their attention.” The program was designed to be compatible with school curricula and could be used by mental health providers. 

The six core lessons, Body, Reflection, Emotions, Attention, Tenderness, and Healthy Mind Habits are obviously not going to let students just “simply be.”  What are these mindfulness skills? A quote by the World Teacher, Krishnamurti (born in 1895 in India) and used in the “Mindfulness in Education, Learning from the Inside Out” video is quite telling:

“You want to have your own gods – new gods instead of the old, new religions instead of the old, new forms instead of the old – all equally valueless, all barriers, all limitations, all crutches. Instead of old spiritual distinctions you have new spiritual distinctions; instead of the old worships you have new worships. You are all depending for your spirituality on someone else, for your happiness on someone else, for enlightenment on someone else; … you must put them all away and look within yourselves for the enlightenment, for the glory, for the purification, and for the incorruptibility of the self…”

Amy Burke mentions in the video that we need to learn to listen to our hearts. Is that a good idea for young people to listen to their hearts when they are already confused and raging with hormones? She advises the use of a chime bar in class to center the students. “We know that it is going to take time to restructure education.” Do we really want or need to restructure education on the tenets of Buddhism?

Debbie DeGroff discusses the video “Mindful Schools:  In Class Instruction,” in which she learned that in June 2010, Mindful Schools has indoctrinated over 8,000 children in 34 Bay Area schools, 74 percent of which were low-income. Children were told to keep a journal of “simply be” and of “notice their breath without judgment.” One entry is full of spelling errors. It appears that students should have spent more time on spelling and less on mindfulness indoctrination.  “what I lrend abo_ot mindfulness is when you have thogh just get your net an cach the buderfly that let it go away.”  Mindfulness is encouraged at bed time as well. Mindful Schools boast 200,000 students in 48 states and 43 countries who were impacted by their program. One course is called Meeting Resistance. Mindfulness is not just a “particular way of paying attention, the mental faculty of purposefully bringing awareness to one’s sensory experience, thoughts, and emotion by using sustained attention and noticing experience without reacting,” it is a much more insidious form of indoctrination. Mindful Schools were even featured in a Time cover story. .mindfulschools.org

Many schools are already using the “Learning to Breathe:  A Mindfulness Curriculum and William Glasser’s Choice Theory.  “Students are motivated more by their internal needs rather than traditional external needs.” “Boss teachers” are the traditional teachers who use the method of rules and consequences, mandated curriculum, and standardized assessments.  “Lead teachers” instruct based on the basic needs of each student. Students actively choose how and what they are taught and the teacher structures the lessons around the student’s desires.  Only good grades are given and, if a student fails, the course is not recorded. What a formula for future failure!

The Mindfulness teachers are promoted as “quiet revolutionaries” who will change the education system by paying attention to the inner life of children and of their teachers. PBS is selling the DVD, The Buddha, a film by David Gruben.  

Dr. Amy Saltzmann describes Mindfulness in the context of global citizenship. “As a classroom teacher, you already know that many of your students are stressed… You have also most likely realized that student stress frequently inhibits their ability to learn, and that the emphasis on academics is neglecting the development of the social-emotional qualities essential for skillful world citizenry… “

She also describes a study of mindfulness group of students vs. a control group in which the mindfulness students showed a significant increase in global assessment of functioning (GAF) scores. GAF is used by mental health clinicians and physicians to rate subjectively the social, occupational, and psychological functioning of adults. 

Shouldn’t schools concentrate on academics instead on the “Still Quiet Place” of meditation found inside you? It is outrageous that, by using Buddhist meditation, our children are diagnosed and treated psychologically without parental consent and, as Debbie DeGroff aptly described, “exposing a wound that we don’t have the skill to attend to.” 

The Department of Education spent $1.2 million on a grant to research mindfulness. Whatever happened to the separation of church and state that liberals scream about when the mere mention of God is made in schools? Why are we allowing Far East mystical practices to come into our public schools under the guise of stress management? Why are our children being constantly experimented on by the latest fad pushed by liberals/progressives who view the classroom and our children’s minds and future as their laboratory? Progressives hope to shape our children’s minds into a more “compassionate” society, brainwashed into overcoming suffering, and recognizing the natural wisdom of Gaia. “Mindfulness is pure religion” and our children are not lab rats.

The disappearance of every born-again Christian will be the first in a long line of miracles and fulfillment of prophecy to occur in the last days. The strict fulfillment of events will be powerful evidence of who is in charge. All will know that God is in control but there will still be a great many rebellious souls who refuse to accept Jesus Christ and humbly repent. This is the dark side of Free Choice.

Many do not realize that the end of this age does not entirely revolve around the human race. The end could have occurred long ago were it not for God's desire to rescue humanity from Satan and his angels. It is Satan who is manipulating events here and that is why he is referred to as "the god of this world" in 2 Corinthians 4:4 and "the prince of this world" in John 12:31 and 14:30. He rebelled long ago and it is at the conclusion of this age that Satan will be imprisoned. And his angels, as well as all men who refuse the gift of Christ's sacrifice, will finally be entirely cut off from God's love and will not be allowed to continue to sabotage His creation.

Satan is very restricted as to what course of action he may take but this will not stop him from deceiving many. In this task he is very active. In 2 Corinthians 11:14 Paul warns us that Satan masquerades as an angel of light and also remarks that it should not be surprising that his servants appear as servants of righteousness as well. One of their favorite tools is the tool of flattery. They tell us what we want to hear and subtly pervert the truth so that it conforms to our own self-centered and self-serving human philosophies. This is being done on an unprecedented scale in the powerful New Age movement today.

What follows are some quotes from members of the New Age movement who dabble in a practice called "channeling." Channeling is a process whereby you open your mind and soul through meditation and relaxation to the influence and direction of non-human beings. These beings claim to be "aliens" or "angels" or "Ascended Masters," and offer some very interesting advice and predictions concerning the future changes. They claim to be angels, and indeed they are, but the nature of their advice gives them away as fallen angels because it conflicts violently and obviously with the saving message of Jesus Christ, His return in power and glory, as well as with the uncompromising truths that have been revealed through God's prophets.

Here is the Rapture according to the Bible,

Matthew 24:36-42
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

Luke 17:34-35
"I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 reads,
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air..."

The disappearance of millions of people will be explained away using several different tactics. The first explanation is that certain groups of people will have to be evacuated by our extraterrestrial "space brothers" (UFOs) because of catastrophic earth changes:

Channeler Thelma Terrell, who goes by her spiritual name, "Tuella," wrote a book called Project World Evacuation (1), these are some quotes from that book. They are messages channeled from a being who calls himself Ashtar, the leader of an alien confederation,
"Our rescue ships will be able to come in close enough in the twinkling of an eye to set the lifting beams in operation in a moment. "...Many of the New Age workers and instructors who feel that they will be taken will not be taken right away, but left behind to help mankind survive through the cataclysmic period. That is their mission."

Another explanation that will be offered for the disappearance of all the believers of Jesus Christ is one of an evolutionary purge. The basic concept is that as earth and humanity is evolving into a higher spiritual consciousness, those whose thought patterns are of the past, and which hinder the evolutionary path, will appear to vanish. It is explained that these souls will be taken elsewhere to evolve at their own rate and they will miss their chance to participate with the rest of the earth's inhabitants:

New Age author Kay Wheeler (known by her spiritual name, Ozmana), who describes herself as a Pleiadian star seed and channeler, published an article entitled, The Time Is Now, in the New Age journal Connecting Link magazine (spring 1994) (3). She presented material that she had channeled from entities that called themselves the "Souls of Light," who claim to be ETs from the "Seventh Celestial Plane of Life" who are concerned with helping earth evolve to full consciousness. Here she writes of the evolutionary purge,

"The Mother [Earth] is desperately fighting for her life. Many of her vortexes have been drained. She is in critical condition at this time and must turn her thoughts to herself if she is to survive. That is why you see the many crises in the world. many of these you do not hear about on your 'screen of lies.'"

"There is much happening on your planet at this time. The Mother is cleansing. It is all she knows to do at this time to clear herself of the pollution that exists within her body. But you as light bearers can help your Mother cleanse in such a way that does not destroy all life on this planet."

"Much of this is necessary. Many of these beings have appointments to leave at this time. Earth's population needs to be decreased to bring forth the necessary changes upon this planet to move into the fourth dimension."

"Your Earth is a fourth-dimensional being at this time. She has moved into this energy pattern, and those who plan to stay must be of this vibration."

"Many of these beings who are leaving this planet at this time have completed that which they came to do. It is a time of great rejoicing for them. Do not feel sad about their leaving. Earlyne Chaney channels an ET who calls himself "Kuthumi" and in Chaney's book, Revelations of Things To Come (4), this being speaks about the earth changes and the need for a "cleansing."

"The Mother Deva (Mother Earth) realizes that her matter must be purified. Her akashic ethers must be cleansed of the dark thought forces."

Barbara Marciniak is a very famous New Age author and channeler. In her book she documents what she claims extraterrestrials from the star system of the Pleiades have told her. In her book, Bringers of the Dawn: Teachings from the Pleiadians (5), she also mentions the removal of a great number of souls,

"The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit in here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people leave the planet at one time there will be a tremendous shift in consciousness for those who are remaining."

Johanna Michaelson is an ex-New Ager who is now a Christian. She writes in one of her books, Like Lambs to the Slaughter: Your Child and the Occult (6), about famous New Age intellectual and promoter John Randolph Price, whose spirit guide says that the number of human beings taken will be significantly higher,

"...Asher, the spirit guide of John Randolph Price, a moving force behind the New Agers' 'World Instant of Cooperation' (on December 31, 1986, in which thousands of meditators worldwide simultaneously concentrated on world peace hoping to cause a critical mass launching into the New Age) told him that two billion people who didn't go along with the New Age would be wiped off the face of the Earth during the coming cleansing."

Barbara Marciniak, in Earth: Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library (7) writes,

"Some of you want to pretend that the earth changes are not occurring. However, they are occurring, and there is nothing to fear, for they are part of the process of the great shift... Whether you stay on the planet and alter your vibration, or you check out and sit in the bleachers to watch the show, doesn't really matter. On some level, in some avenue of existence, you will participate and you will learn."

Marciniak, in Bringers of the Dawn, gives us a final warning,

"If human beings do not change -- if they do not make the shift in values and realize that without Earth they could not be here -- then Earth, in its love for its own initiation, is reaching for a higher frequency, will bring about a cleansing that will balance it once again. There is the potential for many people to leave the planet in an afternoon."

New Age Rapture Explanations on the Web

I have come across several web pages that offer the same types of bogus rapture explanations as the above quotes. Below, I summarize what each page says, and also give a link so that the page can be read in context.

This page offers a subtle warning to those who resist "unity:"
"It is the time of the joining. It is the time of the choosing. And those who wish not to walk upon this path will be transitioned, transferred to a different reality. The time is upon us. The enemy is at hand and is about to become one with us and will be the enemy no longer. No longer will be there dark or light, good or bad. Only will there be unity and those who wish not to operate in unity, will operate elsewhere in another universe."

Cristah the lightworker gets answers to her questions from a being that calls itself Ashtar. Ashtar relates how the earth is moving into the 4th dimension, and how only human beings who are of the right vibration may enter it with earth. He says, "...those who do not believe, will be left in the 3rd dimension," "those that are not of the light must stay and learn here in the 3rd dimension." He says that the fate of earth's inhabitants "will be handled on an individual basis." and

This page talks about how the earth is "Ascending" into the next age. It is filled with a lot of boring New Age rubbish, but it mentions that there will be "three waves of ascension," and how "...the second wave is the beginning of the evacuation." Of this wave it is said, "I cannot give you dates as it is not permitted." [Plus ... no one knows, including Satan and his "lightworkers." Only God the Father knows the date of the Rapture and other end-time events, although we are told we will know when the end is near due to the signs.}

This is a site that is dedicated to preparing the world for contact with our ET "brothers." Sheldan Nidle is the leader of this organization and he is well known to late-night talk show host Art Bell. Nidle publishes updates on his website about twice a week to encourage his "lightworkers" around the world.

Here are two pages which mention the rapture:

This page mentions how gigantic spaceships will be used to evacuate certain people, who will then be taken "...to an orientation training on special mother ships in the fleet." Evidently there will be quite a few who don't swallow all of the feel-good New Age hogwash, and these people must go to school to be properly indoctrinated. It goes on to say, "After this training is completed, we can then move them to their new holographic residences."

Nidle's disciples ask him if all the rituals and meditation might possibly help the earth enough to make an "evacuation" unneccessary. Nidle replies that their work has been "marvelous," but the Galactic Federation still plans to go through with the evacuation.

This page states the purpose of yet another New Age cult which is trying to prepare the world for contact with ETs. There is no explicit reference to an "evacuation," but it does mention Lord Maitreya, who they claim is the "current planetary Christ." They directly contradict the Gospel when they say that "the belief in separation" is the "father of all lies." One only has to look at the state of the world to realize how far apart humanity is from God at this time. We are born into an age-old rebellion against God and are the legal property of the fallen angels. Jesus Christ came and died in the flesh to offer us a way out. I pray that all who read this understand and do not reject the free gift of eternal life offered through Jesus Christ. Without it we will suffer condemnation alongside Satan and his angels.

This article is a detailed account of the beliefs of one of the original modern New Age organizations: the Theosophical Society. This organization was founded by Helena Blavatsky near the turn of the [20th] century. She was heavily into channeling and also wrote about the coming of a New Age Christ (Antichrist). This article documents how its' members are expecting a good portion of the earth's inhabitants to vanish, and how Maitreya will rise to power with the help of the Roman Catholic Pope. The disappearance of every born-again Christian will be the first in a long line of miracles and fulfillment of prophecy to occur in the last days. The strict fulfillment of events will be powerful evidence of who is in charge. All will know that God is in control but there will still be a great many rebellious souls who refuse to accept Jesus Christ and humbly repent. This is the dark side of Free Choice.

Many do not realize that the end of this age does not entirely revolve around the human race. The end could have occurred long ago were it not for God's desire to rescue humanity from Satan and his angels. It is Satan who is manipulating events here and that is why he is referred to as "the god of this world" in 2 Corinthians 4:4 and "the prince of this world" in John 12:31 and 14:30. He rebelled long ago and it is at the conclusion of this age that Satan will be imprisoned. And his angels, as well as all men who refuse the gift of Christ's sacrifice, will finally be entirely cut off from God's love and will not be allowed to continue to sabotage His creation.

Satan is very restricted as to what course of action he may take but this will not stop him from deceiving many. In this task he is very active. In 2 Corinthians 11:14 Paul warns us that Satan masquerades as an angel of light and also remarks that it should not be surprising that his servants appear as servants of righteousness as well. One of their favorite tools is the tool of flattery. They tell us what we want to hear and subtly pervert the truth so that it conforms to our own self-centered and self-serving human philosophies. This is being done on an unprecedented scale in the powerful New Age movement today.

What follows are some quotes from members of the New Age movement who dabble in a practice called "channeling." Channeling is a process whereby you open your mind and soul through meditation and relaxation to the influence and direction of non-human beings. These beings claim to be "aliens" or "angels" or "Ascended Masters," and offer some very interesting advice and predictions concerning the future changes. They claim to be angels, and indeed they are, but the nature of their advice gives them away as fallen angels because it conflicts violently and obviously with the saving message of Jesus Christ, His return in power and glory, as well as with the uncompromising truths that have been revealed through God's prophets.

Here is the Rapture according to the Bible,

Matthew 24:36-42
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. This article is a detailed account of the beliefs of one of the original modern New Age organizations: the Theosophical Society. This organization was founded by Helena Blavatsky near the turn of the [20th] century. She was heavily into channeling and also wrote about the coming of a New Age Christ (Antichrist). This article documents how its' members are expecting a good portion of the earth's inhabitants to vanish, and how Maitreya will rise to power with the help of the Roman Catholic Pope. "4. Goal of the Plan - Initiation: All who wish to enter the New Age 'on the physical plane' [alive] must undergo an 'energy activation' or 'rebirth' - usually marked by a subjective trance-induced 'light experience' where one meets either a 'spirit guide' or one's 'higher self' (no difference since 'all is one'). This 'altered state of consciousness' will eventually lead to a 'Luciferic initiation' into the 'new humanity', or a vow of allegiance to Lucifer as god. Those who cannot (no souls) or will not ('not sufficiently developed in their spiritual journey') will be sent on to their next life in a global 'cleansing action' (Alice Bailey, 'The Rays and the Initiations' pp.754-755).
