Pluralism Is the Enemy: 'Jesus Is the Only Way' Will Be Deemed Hate Speech, Says Pastor

Pluralism, not gender and sexuality, will be the biggest issue that every evangelical Christian will face, according to one Presbyterian pastor.

Bryan Chapell warned that increasingly "it will be difficult to say in this culture that 'Jesus is the only way.'"

"That will be interpreted as hate speech," Chapell, senior pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois, said Wednesday at the 42nd PCA General Assembly in Houston.

Members of the PCA tout the motto: faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. The denomination was formed in 1973 by those who left the PCUS (Presbyterian Church in the U.S.) over the growing influence of liberalism.

Chapell joined a panel discussion on the past, present and future of the PCA on Wednesday in which participants recalled the beginnings of the church body, touched on the cultural and generational divide, and predicted future battles.

Gender and sexuality are major issues for the church, he recognized. The PCA, like other denominations, will likely continue to discuss and debate those topics. But they're not the most pressing.

"If you continue to stand for 'Christ alone' in a culture that calls that bigotry, that will be the issue that presses us in the future," Chapell, former chancellor of Covenant Theological Seminary, said.
Pluralism is the major enemy, he added, and Presbyterians must unite despite differences on smaller issues to fight that enemy.

He encouraged those in the PCA "not to listen to the gossip that parades as news that tries to make us enemies of one another" when debating theological positions but to remember who the real enemy is.
"We will disagree sometimes strenuously but the reality is we have learned to trust one another," Chapell stated.

Roy Taylor, stated clerk of the PCA GA, agreed and gave out a similar warning.

"Our enemies are not those with whom we have some intramural disagreements in the PCA. Our enemies are not other Christians from other denominations," Taylor said. "As our culture continues to degenerate, we would be well served to understand that our friends are our brothers and sisters in Christ and we will begin to move forward against the true enemies of the Gospel."

The true enemies, he said, are the world, the flesh and the devil.

It is becoming apparent that Christians, and American Christians, in particular, will soon become the most hunted people on the face of the earth. The coming persecution will make the Romans persecution of the Christians seem tame compared to what is coming. DHS policies and their subsequent actions have become an effective barometer from which to judge the direction of the tyrannical takeover of our government by the central bankers and what it will ultimately mean for Christians.

   

Let the Crucifixions Begin

DHS is lining itself up against Christians. The Army is lining up against Christians. Obama has always been against Christians. As Supreme Commander of the military, Obama has encouraged/permitted the United States military to participate in the persecution of Christians.  

A recent Army briefing, given by Lt. Col. Jack Rich, to a reserve unit in Pennsylvania, identified several organizations and movements as extremist groups.  First on the list of his slides presented in the briefing listed evangelical Christians and the list also included Catholics, Hamas, al-Qaeda, Nation of Islam and the Ku Klux Klan. Isn’t it comforting to realize that your government sees Catholic and evangelical Christians in the same light as Hamas, al-Qaeda and the Klan?

Lt. Col. Rich warned his subordinates to not back down from “bad Christian behavior” for “when they see behaviors which are inconsistent with Army values, don’t just walk by. Do the right thing before it becomes a problem.” What exactly constitutes “bad Christian behavior?” Is praying a bad Christian behavior? 

Further, the warning has been given to flag Christians and put them on no buy lists for guns. Rich’s briefing dovetails with the same kind of anti-Christian rhetoric recently presented to Colorado law enforcement officials in La Junta, Colorado in which Christians were prominently displayed in as domestic terrorists if they take the Bible too literally. Of course Christians take the Bible literally, this is why Christians read and study the Bible. The word of God is not a comic book, it is the Bible. And as such, all Christians have just been declared to be enemies of the state. Below is a screen shot of a page out of Rich’ anti-Christian PowerPoint presentation. Please note the repeated references to various types of Christians. Interestingly, I did not see the official religion of the United Nations, GAIA, listed as a domestic terror group.

Look at the last item on the list, “Islamaphobia.” Isn’t it telling that “Christianphobia” is not listed as an area of concern thus, making it clear that the government only sees Christians as the problem and never the potential victim. This is precisely the point. At the risk of beating a dead horse, your central banker hijacked government has just told you that you Christians are an identified enemy of the state. You Christians are not an enemy of the state because you might plant an IED in a public place. You Christians are not an enemy of the state because you support terrorism. You Christians are an enemy of the state, because you are Christians and you possess spiritual weapons which could dismantle the entire New World Order.

The Consequence for Being An Enemy of the State

Why should the eventual fate of American Christians 

be any different?

In Egypt, Libya and Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood was installed as the new leadership, or rebel leadership with the help of the Obama administration. These groups are also aligned with al-Qaeda. These groups are killing Christians by the thousands in all three countries. Presently, the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda are persecuting Egyptian Coptic Christians in horrific ways and Obama “hears no evil, and sees no evil.” It is notable that the Coptic Christian presence in Egypt predates the Muslim. However, to the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, the CIA and apparently President Obama, Christians are now persona non grata and it does not matter what country the Christians are from.

Coptic children are forcibly being taken from their families and forced to convert to Islam. Is this a foreshadowing of a future CPS field manual which will do the same here in America? Do you think this hyperbole? Then you must not be familiar with the new CPS manual which will be used to enforce “child welfare” under Obamacare. Under Obamacare, parents can lose custody of their children if their child gets a bad grade, is absent for more than 5 days in any 30 day period, if the parent has beer in the house or if the parent is a gun owner. Therefore, how far-fetched is it for American Christians to look at themselves as the next Coptic Christians and realize that the CPS could one day come for their children merely because they are Christians?

 Why Christians?

Humanity is locked in a spiritual war. Although it is true that we must meet the enemy at the gate if we are to survive and that entails some use of physical countermeasures. However, physical realm countermeasures can only delay the inevitable. Spiritual warfare demands spiritual solutions. Rather than repeat myself, I would refer the reader to previously identified spiritual strategies in two articles I recently authored, Harnessing Quantum Entanglement is Humanity’s Secret Weapon and Humanity’s Ultimate Weapon. The concepts are scientifically verifiable and simple enough to understand. And more importantly, they work!

After reading about the spiritual weapons that mankind has at its disposal, it should be obvious as to why Christians are being targeted and being attacked with such a vengeance.

The ultimate enemy of humanity is not al-Qaeda, the Russians, the central bankers and not even Obama himself. The ultimate enemy of humanity is Satan, the great destroyer and the aforementioned groups merely serve him. These forces of evil have conscripted vast resources in the march toward enslaving and depopulating humanity. They control the physical realm. Humanity cannot defeat these forces of evil on the physical battlefield.

Humanity is approaching its metaphorical Lexington and Concord. The central bankers are seeking to disarm humanity by eradicating the Christian threat to their agenda. You see, the dark side already knows what most of us don’t yet realize, Christians have the spiritual weapons to defeat those who are destroying humanity. It’s up to you, up to me and up to all of us, to invoke the use of these spiritual weapons.

Deepening Hostility to Christians by Pentagon?

Not only Rev. Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, has been 'disinvited' to the National Day of Prayer observance to be held at the Pentagon, but now we discover that the National Day of Prayer task force itself, headed by author Shirley Dobson, of Focus on the Family, has also been disinvited. It's definitely beginning to look like the Pentagon is assuming a policy against Christians that is deliberate and broader than recognized previously.

The stated reason for not wanting Graham at the event was that post-9/11 he had said that the teachings of Islam made it "a very evil and wicked religion." He believes the military’s effort to ban him and other Christian leaders is nothing short of an effort to stamp out Christianity from the military.

Even more interesting is the fact that the Pentagon still plans on observing the National Day of Prayer, which signifies that it is only Christian prayer to which they object. Pentagon spokesman George B. Wright stated: "While we appreciate [Franklin Graham's] worldwide outreach, and his willingness to speak at this Pentagon multi-faith event, his presence would be inappropriate." Just why it would be 'inappropriate' he didn't say. Wright said the Pentagon event "will continue as scheduled under the administration of the office of the Pentagon Chaplain." Asked which chaplains, representing which faith traditions, will be involved in the upcoming event, Wright replied: "The agenda has not been finalized." I'll bet.

Franklin Graham's Samaritan Purse has provided aid to millions across the globe and has overseen a number of programs to help people in Muslim countries.

Also this year, an invitation to head of the Christian Family Research Council, Tony Perkins, was revoked after the military had asked him to speak at a prayer lunch at Andrews Air Force Base, after he criticized President Obama's call to allow gays to serve openly in the U.S. military. Perkins is a marine veteran and had served six years in the U.S. Military.

When over 90% of Americans claim to be Christians, it is an ominous sign for religious freedom - and an extremely disturbing sign for Christians. This appears to be part of an opening shot across the bow to one faith alone - Christianity. We can expect increasing persecution.

This month, U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb of Wisconsin ruled that holding a National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional, saying it violates the First Amendment's prohibition against the establishment of a religion by the federal government. The ruling stemmed from a lawsuit filed in 2008 by a group of atheists and agnostics.The Justice Department has announced it will appeal Crabb's ruling.

This is the rationale: if we Christians stand for what we believe in, we are not tolerant. Our belief that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and there's no way to God except through Christ and Christ alone, is now being interpreted as being hostile, as hate speech."

The U.S. Military has accepted the practice of every pagan religion you can think of ... Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Wicca and even the Church of Satan. Only one faith is now excluded - ours, because we refuse to bend to the New Age faith. The world will accept any evil belief imaginable, but it draws the line at Jesus Christ.

Is any Christian surprised? I think not.

Jesus said: "If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first." John 15:19.

And why did the world hate Christ, and it will hate us? "...it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil." John 7:7

The world is the unregenerate portion of mankind. It hated and slew the Lord. It has never loved his disciples. Satan is its prince.

Are You Ready For Persecution?

Christians haven't been popular of late, even in their own churches. That's where it starts.

Persecution begins in the house of God (as does judgment) when the church begins to become infiltrated from the top down. This first step has been going on for many years. False teaching begins in the churches as apostate seminaries produce false prophets who become ministers in the churches. This goes on until the Christian doctrine disappears from the pulpit, then filters down through the Christian education program, bit by bit, until it is no longer politically correct to speak of Bible truth. We have just about completed this process, which I have been watching for years.

This preliminary process of winnowing out genuine Christians (the trouble makers) continues until there is no difference between the church and the culture. The church is just one more social club. Meanwhile, true Christians find themselves in the situation of 'a man without a country'. They are despised and rejected in their own churches because they refuse to give up biblical teachings and doctrine. The truth sounds too harsh. I have experienced it myself on a number of issues and occasions.

First, let me clarify that the church is called to be separate from the world ... to be set apart, by virtue (excuse the term) of our spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ. Our lives should be victorious, abundant and loving. This difference will be obvious, and it will serve as a light in a dark world. The lights are mighty dim these days because, once again, the majority of people who call themselves Christian, are not. Therefore, they are not separate, but are a part of the world. They are not lights; they are not different in any way. I can back this up with scripture.

A Christian's relationship with the world, and with other Christians, will be kind and full of genuine love and concern. That is the primary feature which will be noticeable to non-Christians. This supernatural love is what sets apart - separates - identifies, the Christian. Love is a supernatural representation of the changed life that a relationship with Jesus brings to our lives. It is the mark of the Christian.

It is very confusing to the non-Christian when the majority of people who call themselves Christians, aren't. And this confusion puts the genuine Christian at a great disadvantage in trying to spread the good news of the gospel, because most non-Christians are not interested in the kind of 'religion' they see exhibited all around them by phony Christians - in name only. They're right. I have heard missionaries say that they think this kind of persecution is worse than physical persecution. This was an overwhelming comfort to me.

Because of this hypocrisy the non-Christian sees (and sometimes it just an excuse), one can understand their resentment. I understand it completely. Still, there does remain a segment of the church which remains true to the gospel. That segment will be the target of persecution, to the point that spies will be sent into churches to scope it out. This can't happen until laws are passed which do not allow parts of the Bible to be preached or taught, which has happened. This will only be a problem for genuine Christians because the Christianettes have no interest in Bible truth. They are already a part of the world rather than of Christ's Church.

This persecution is now beginning. Without going into detail, I will cite a few examples of what to expect.

* "Mystery worshippers" - non-Christians sent into the church to identify and to 'set up' Christians who preach and teach the gospel.

* Media silence when violence takes place against Christians, as in the case of the two street preachers who were recently gunned down in Boynton Beach, Florida, by a young man who didn't like their message. Not a single news outlet reported this story.

* Work place refusal to exempt Christians of aspects of their jobs which their consciences prevent them from performing.

* Insistence that parents subject their children as young as ten years old to school curricula which teaches ideas that are directly opposed to their moral values.

* An increasing lack of diligence in pursuing crimes against Christians, such as the 11 churches in Texas which were recently torched, and the 90 houses of worship set on fire last year nationwide.

While I can't legitimately put this in the above list, because it would be mere speculation, stories such as the one involving 10 missionaries in Haiti make me immediately suspicious. Is this a great opportunity to label Christians as criminals, is it a case of naivete and ignorance on the part of the 10 people, or is it true criminal behavior? I don't have a clue, but this case is ripe for a persecution agenda. Only time will tell.

The battle is heating up, and this is just the beginning. It will get much worse, and quickly. A Christian needs to know exactly what price he is willing to pay for his relationship with Jesus Christ.

He died for us. We may be called upon to return the commitment.
