"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus."

the man Christ Jesus."
1 Timothy 2:5
Contrary to popular thought, based on something as unreliable as each person's opinion, there IS a way to contact God ... ONE WAY. Jesus Christ.
Regardless of personal opinion, facts trump everything else. There is such a thing as truth. When someone turns on a light you may have a personal opinion that all is dark in the room, but the truth is that the light is on; and when you stand before the Creator of the cosmos - and you will - it will be an unfortunate time to discover that your personal opinion was wrong.
It is obvious to any person who has all of his or her faculties that the cosmos did not evolve from nothing. There was a Person behind it all, a Creator. God. Having created us, God wanted to communicate with us. Originally, He did that through the creation itself. As the Bible tells us, there is no excuse for not believing. The universe itself is evidence of creation to any intelligent human.
Then He sent prophets and priests. Ultimately He manifest Himself in the flesh as Jesus Christ, who was "God ... manifest in the flesh" (1 Timothy 3:16), the second Person of the Trinity. Even though His human body was crucified for our sins, then transfigured, resurrected and glorified, where He now sits in the heavenlies at the right hand of the Father, He will be returning. Very soon, many believe.
We have direct access to Him, and Christians can "come boldly" ... to His "throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:15-16). He understands us and our problems and can "be touched with the feeling of our infirmities" since He, too, lived on this earth in the form of a man. In fact, He was "in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (v. 15), which enables Him to serve as the only "mediator between God and men." He is the only way by which we can reach God in prayer. "I am the way, the truth, and the life," He said, "no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
Not another person in the world - whether man or woman, priest, rabbi, imam, channeler, angel or demon - has direct access to God, because He is the only mediator. Through Him, "we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous" (1 John 2:1). "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).
If you hear Him knock at the door to your spirit, it would be prudent to follow Him immediately. While there is still time. The opportunity will not last forever.
