Roots of Seduction

"From this root of delusion the entire tree of sorcery has sprung forth and blossomed." 

One cannot possibly investigate what is happening in both the world and the church today without becoming convinced that end-time prophecy is being uniquely fulfilled. The lie that will be believed by everyone when that "deluding influence" sweeps the world during the end times is already becoming the "new truth." Not only is this lie the foundation of the New Age movement, but it is being embraced within the church....

Only a few years ago it was extremely difficult to convince Christians that Mormons hoped to become gods. Anyone who said that was likely to be accused of having it in for Mormons and spreading lies about them. Today many Christians themselves believe not that they are going to become gods like the Mormons, but that they already are god, like the Hindus, and just need to "realize" it. And they even support this idea with selected Bible verses....In Psalm 82 God's judgment was pronounced against the rulers of Israel because they were acting like gods who were a law unto themselves. In verses 6 and 7 God stated: "I said, 'You are gods....Nevertheless you will die like men."

This Scripture and Jesus' quotation of it [John 10:34] has given comfort to cultists and occultists and caused confusion among the unlearned. Mormons, for example, point to it as justification for their goal of godhood and support for their teaching that Satan told the truth when he offered godhood to Eve. Clearly that is a false application, for Psalm 82 does not say, "Ye shall become gods," as Mormons hope, but "Ye are gods." So whatever is meant by this statement, it refers to something that humans already are, not to some new status that we will eventually attain.

There is only one true God. All other gods are false and are demonic beings in rebellion against the true God. Through the fall, man had become like one of these false gods. Not only did Jesus say to the religious leaders of His day, "Ye are gods," but He also said, "You are of your father the devil" (John 8:44). It was a terrible indictment....

The noted historian Arnold Toynbee, after studying civilizations across the whole span of history, concluded that self-worship was the paramount religion of mankind, although it appeared in various guises. Man (i.e., self) is the "God" of atheistic humanism. Of course he is not God in the classical biblical sense of the Creator who made everything out of nothing and is separate and distinct from His creation. This true God is denied in the religion of Antichrist, as we have already seen, so that self may be enthroned in His place (2 Thessalonians 2:4). In humanism, as in Mormonism, Unity, Religious Science, Hinduism, and other New Age philosophies, man has become god, 1) through an evolutionary process, and 2) by mastering the forces inherent in nature or the cosmos. This was the superman of Nietzsche and Hitler. It is only within the past 25 years, however [as of 1985], that this obsession has become the popular religion of the masses. Historian Herbert Schlossberg has said:

Exalting mankind to the status of deity therefore dates from the furthest reaches of antiquity, but its development into an ideology embracing the masses is a characteristic of modernity.

It should be added that "its development into an ideology embracing the masses" and its spreading in the church would seem to be a clear fulfillment of prophecy and a solemn indication that the second coming of Christ could be very near. For those who reject the Positive Confession point of view, Satan cleverly puts the same lie in a package that will appeal to them: the pseudoscientific language of psychology. The magician's deep silk hat from which Christian intellectuals have been persuaded that they can pull forth magic mind powers is called the subconscious. This supposedly holds the key to miraculous healings of body, soul, spirit, mind, and emotions. Satan reinforces his promise of godhood with the lie that we have all we need within us. If we only know how to get in touch with our true self, then we can tap into this power.

The entire smorgasbord of therapies being encouraged by some Christian leaders is being sampled by Christians in one form or another, either out in the secular world or inside the church. Much of this influence has come into the church through Christian psychology and the pseudopsychologies of inner healing and healing of memories. The common denominator is self. Not everyone would identify with the desire to become a god, but that is the lie that hooked not only Eve but her descendants. And to whatever extent we seek our own will, seek to use God to bring about our will, pander to our self-centered desires, or in any way are afraid or unwilling to surrender wholly to God's will--to that extent we are exalting ourselves to the position of gods, whether we call it that or not. The teaching is spreading that we don't ask God, but command Him to give us all that is our divine right to possess and enjoy.

Whatever the label on the package, the product inside is the same old satanic ploy: "The answer is within ourselves." We can "do it" if we only learn the "laws" and "principles" that apply and put them into operation by "faith." The goal is always to reward self in some way. Though called by many names, it is still the lie that the Bible prophesies will become the new "truth" upon which Antichrist's kingdom will be built and which will eventually prove to be a foundation of sand. From this root of delusion the entire tree of sorcery has sprung forth and blossomed, and is now bearing the evil fruit that is so greedily being devoured by this generation.

ROMAN CATHOLIC SCANDAL IN IRELAND

Last November the results of an investigation into child abuse by Catholic priests in Dublin was published. It is called the Murphy Report which investigated 46 allegations of sexual abuse on children in the diocese of Dublin. Although there were 102  priests alleged to have committed abuses, only 46 were investigated and reviewed in this report.

The details of the abuse suffered by children at the hands of these priests is sickening. Some people literally threw up on reading the details. Others were moved to tears. Some of the descriptions were so vile that it would be improper to recall them here. However there was one instance of a priest using a crucifix on a young girl while abusing here. This is evil personified and beyond my comprehension.

I write the following article which I sent to several newspapers and radio stations. Of course, because I am an evangelical Christian, I was ignored and the article was not published. It is written for non Christians (as most Irish Catholics are).  At its conclusion I want to add some more comments for those of you who are mature Christian believers.

                                                   THE MINISTERY OF LIES

There is something strangely missing in the debate presently raging about the Murphy Report. We hear legal debates based on Civic Law, Canon Law and Moral Law. But no one is referring  back to the Law of God or the simple words of Jesus himself in trying to put a context on all of this repulsive abuse that children have suffered at the hands of these so called Christian leaders.

I was raised a strict Catholic during the ‘50’s. I was an alter boy and attended the Christian Brothers. I knew all the Latin prayers by heart. By my teens I had decided that the Catholic Church was full of hypocrisy and I wanted no part in it. At age 24 I had a Damascene epiphany which changed me into what has been derogatorily termed a ‘born-again Christian’. So I can speak as both a Catholic who became a Biblical student.

A cursory reading of the four Gospels shows that the people who constantly hassled Jesus, who tricked him, who challenged him, who organised his betrayal, his arrest, his torture, his kangaroo court and ultimate murder, were the chief priests, the Pharisees and the doctors of Theology. That is, it was the religious leaders of the day. Those who got up in the pulpit in the synagogue every week to preach. It was they who crucified Jesus.

I always wondered why Catholics, as supposed Christians, were never encouraged to read the Bible. But when I became a student of said Bible, I learned why. Listen now to some of the direct words of the man himself and compare these with the stories we have been hearing about.

“Call no one on this earth father; for one is your father and He is in heaven.” (Matt 23:9)

Is it any  wonder why we have never heard this preached from the alter of a Catholic church? Here is another interesting quote from the man priests are supposed to represent:

“Beware of the scribes. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the market-places and have the most important seats in the synagogue and places of honour at banquets. They devour widows houses and love the praise of men and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.” (Mark 12:38-40)

Or this one; “Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” (Matt 7:15) What are the fruits of the Catholic church?

Speaking of children, and this has direct relevance to the current situation, Jesus said:

“If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matt 18:6) 

Surely this form of punishment is not acceptable in our modern pc world? Yet these are the words of the same Christ, Roman Catholic priests purport to serve.  Has anyone heard a Bishop or a Cardinal or the Pope quote this saying? No.

In another of the many confrontations Jesus had with the clergy, they said to him, “We be of our father Abraham.”  The inference here was that they had a father but he did not. For they believed that he was ‘illegitimate’ as they knew Mary was pregnant before her marriage. This was a sly intimation that he was a bastard child. But he replied:

 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the works of your father you will do”. And at yet another debate he had with the hierarchy he told them, “You are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch”.

Bottom line here is that the Roman Catholic church is not a Christian church. At best it is nominal Christianity. It does not teach or adhere to the plain teachings of the New Testament. In fact it has gone out of its way to keep the laity away from scripture and instead reverts to the teachings of  traditions and doctrines of the Church which are diametrically and diabolically opposite to the teachings of Christ. Saying that Catholics are Christians is akin to me saying I am a mechanic, but I have no idea how to change the oil in your car! Catholics have beet treated like mushrooms; keep them in the dark and feed them manure.

“Thou are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church.” (Matt 16:18)

It is upon this short sentence that the Church of Rome derives its authority categorically stating that Peter was the first Pope. (Yet just five verses later Jesus said to this same Peter, “Get thee behind me Satan”. But we never hear this taught). However, we need to look at the original Greek to ferret out the truth of the above quote. For ‘Peter’ in Greek here is petros, which literally means a small stone or a pebble. But the Greek for ‘rock’ is  petra  which means a big, immovable rock.

What Jesus was saying here was, “You are a pebble. You blow hot and cold. One day you  stand for me, the next you deny me three times. You are unreliable. But upon THIS rock, I will build MY church”. Jesus was speaking of himself being the rock. Several times in the New and Old Testament it speaks of Jesus being the rock. Peter was a great leader but he was not ‘the rock’. In fact the apostle Paul was a far greater leader in the first century church than Peter ever was.

This next passage will demonstrate what is now happening to the Church of Rome.

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon a rock. The rain came down, the stream rose and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words and does not put them into practice, is like a foolish man who built his house on sand . The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (Matt 7:24-27)

The Church of Rome has built its house on sand, in the form of Peter, and has abandoned and neglected the teachings of Jesus, who is the rock. As a consequence it is anti-Christian and the fruits of the Catholic Church are plain to be seen by all. Just as the chief priests, the Pharisees and the Doctors of Theology were the plotters of the murder of Jesus, so the Bishops, the Cardinals and priests of today are their counterparts. Plus ca change. Paul summed it up very well in 2 Corinthians 11: 13,14 where, speaking of the religious of his day he said: “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light”.

Roman Catholicism only came into Ireland with the backing of the then King of England, circa 1,000AD. Prior to that there was a different form of Christianity practised here which began with the preaching and teaching of Saint Patrick, who was an evangelical Christian, about 425AD. This is evidenced by his writings which are peppered with scripture quotes from Genesis to Revelation. Patrick knew his Bible. For 600 years this was the Golden Age of Ireland and we became the centre of Christian study in Europe and the Land of Saints and Scholars.  Missionaries went all over Europe from Ireland preaching “the Gospel of Christ”. But all this changed after the Church of Rome came in. Historians tell us it took about 100 years to change the Irish from their form of Christianity to Catholicism. And it has been all downhill ever since.

There are many good, honest Irish Catholic folk. But sincerity is no guarantee for truth. It pains me to state this, but the following passage refers, in my opinion, to Roman Catholics and especially their Cardinals, Bishops and priests (as well as other so called Christian denominations) :

“Not every one that saith unto me ‘Lord, lord’, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?’

And then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me ye who work iniquity’.

As a former Catholic who found Christ through the scriptures, I feel there is only one hope for the Catholic Church in Ireland.  Forget about the traditions and doctrines of Rome and get back to the simple teachings of Christ. Bring your Bibles into the church and open them and read them in order to find the narrow path of truth. If priests do not lead on this, they will remain “blind leaders of the blind”. And if the congregations do not insist on a return to the study of the scriptures, they will remain in the dark and “both shall fall into the ditch”. But if people do search out the truths of the Word, “then you shall know the truth; and the truth shall set you free”. This is the promise of Jesus Christ to each of you. (John 8:32)

Because this article was composed for consumption by ordinary Catholic folk, I could not include scriptures which are more weighty and would only be understood by people who have the Spirit of God and who are well versed in spiritual matters. For instance, when Jesus said to the Pharisees and chief priests, “You are of your father, the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning…” (John 8:44), was Jesus speaking the literal truth here? I believe he was. Therefore these so called religious leaders who love to go around in flowing robes and love the praise of men and the chief seats at banquets, were (and are), the children of the Devil. By the way, the word ‘lusts’ here means ‘strong desires of all kinds’. Do you think this might include the sexual abuse of children?

Jesus repeated this accusation to these same religious leaders throughout the Gospels when he crossed swords with them. Look at Matt 23:15:

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than you yourselves.”

It cannot be very nice to have Jesus Christ accuse you of being a ‘child of hell’. Again the inference here is that religious leaders are associated with the activities of hell rather than the righteous works of heaven. In verse 33 of the same chapter, Jesus attacks these same hypocrites and he doesn’t mince His words:

“Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”

This is King James Version English. But the literal and truer translation of this and similar quotes in Matt: 3:7 and 12:34, according to EW Bullinger is:

“Ye offspring of serpents.”

Now this throws up some interesting possibilities. For all Biblical truth has a literal meaning. Even parables have a literal meaning. Remember the parable of the tares and the wheat? A man sowed wheat in his field and an enemy came during the night and sowed tares among the wheat. These tares resemble and can be mistaken for the real wheat.  Thus these religious leaders who purport to present the masses with truth, are mere impostors and offspring of serpents. 

These serpents have a precedent. The serpent of Genesis 3 is the Devil and Satan. ‘Serpent’ is a metaphor for Satan in the same was as ‘lamb of God’ and ‘lion of the tribe of Judah’ are metaphors referring to Jesus Christ. Thus ‘serpent’ and ‘dragon’ are metaphors for Satan and the Devil. When God confronted the serpent and Adam and Eve, He said  “I will put enmity between your seed and her seed…” Two different seeds here. The seed of the Devil and the seed of the woman. Tares and wheat.

So when Jesus accused the scribes and Pharisees of being ‘the offspring of serpents’, he was speaking literally. When he said these people were wolves in sheep’s clothing, and that they would exhibit strong desires of all kinds, and that we would recognise them by their fruit, He was speaking the literal truth. Again I ask, what is the fruit of the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland and everywhere else they have gone? To sexually abuse little girls and boys in unspeakable acts of depravity and evil that are diabolically opposite to any form of Christian belief. This is the work of Satan and the fruit thereof. Plus ca change. When we look at the leaders of these so called Christian churches today, parading around in their flowing robes of scarlet and gold, wearing their wizard hats and lording it over their blind flock, what are we witnessing? We are looking at the same offspring of serpents that Jesus warned us of. The more things change, the more they stay the same. What else did our Teacher tell us of these brood of vipers? Matt 7:15 -20

“ Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles?

Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them.”

There is an interesting usage of metaphors again here. For the Lord is referring to two types of people here and he likens them to trees. This occurs throughout scripture in various places. When Jesus rubbed mud on the blind mans’ eyes, he said, “I see men as trees walking”. Psalm 1 speaks of a righteous man being like a tree planted by the rivers of water who brings forth his fruit in due season. Could it be that the ‘tree of the knowledge of good and evil’ in Genesis 3 is a metaphor also?  When John speaks of Cain as ‘being of that wicked one and slew his brother’, what is this inferring? And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. (1 John 3:12)

Cain was the first murderer. His works were evil. By his fruit he is known. Was he the offspring of the serpent?

All Bad Church Doctrine is Intentional

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16. All scripture is profitable for doctrine because it’s all God breathed. We are to use the scriptures as a reproof against bad doctrine, then we correct those who are promoting such doctrine, and we continue to use those same scriptures as instructions in righteousness. How can we ever expect to be considered righteous before our perfect God when we allow bad doctrine to sway our Christian Church? 

Do we get bad doctrine from the Bible? Is God inclined to provide us with erroneous doctrines to confuse us? Doctrine, simply put, means that which is taught, it’s the act of teaching – it’s instruction. Jesus taught us His doctrines “And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” Matthew 7:28-29.

The only people who should be teaching in our Churches are those who have studied God’s word and who stand firm on the truth of His word. These folks would be under the authority of God Himself. But this just isn’t the case these days is it? Bad doctrine is abundant in our Christian Churches. All bad doctrine comes from the father of all lies, Satan, and of course it’s intentional.

Many of my brethren have written me complaining about their Church doctrine. So much so that I’ve begun to wonder just how many truly Christ centered, Bible believing Churches remain. For the reason stated above, many of these folks have told me they refuse to attend church services and have begun to hold services in their homes with family members and friends. What they no longer receive at their local Christian Church is afforded them in abundance at home – which is God’s truth from His inerrant Word.

Like I said, bad doctrine is intentional; it has been Satan’s plan since the inception of the Church to disrupt the flow of true information and subtly subvert that truth with his lies. Many pastors today have no clue they are propagating erroneous church doctrine. According to many of my readers their pastors don’t seem to have an inkling of what is correct and what is not, or they just don’t care. They’ve tried to confront the pastor but in most cases he, or worse yet she, simply states “I was taught by my professors in seminary, and they hold PhD’s in theology, what do you hold?”

We are all held accountable by God to know His word. If we are taught by someonewho is off base concerning God’s word we too will promote the same fallacies when we begin to teach others. All Satan had to do was to get those professors to see things his way and voila the bad doctrine began. We’ve certainly been privy to a lot of bad doctrine over the past few years. With the invention of TV we’ve seen men and women manipulating the masses for nothing more than personal gain. The internet has become another foraging ground for those who, solely for personal gain, have devised ways to achieve their goals and it’s all done using bad doctrine.

“Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:7-9. The doctrines of men have become common place in our Christian Churches; can Jesus be happy about such behavior? You decide. But while you are making up your mind remember how many times in the scriptures we are told to “…be ye not deceived”. “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;” Ephesians 4:14.

Why is it so easy to preach from the pulpit today and garner a huge following all the while teaching bad doctrine? Those of you who don’t know the answer to that question may well be part of the problem. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 1 Timothy 4:1. Basically, giving heed means to regard as truth. These folks believe Satan and his minions of evil over God and His Word. Why? Because they are biblically illiterate and it seems they prefer their illiteracy over truth.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4. Because of the many letters I receive these days from folks complaining about their pastor and others in their church leadership’s hierarchy who are leading their congregations down a very destructive path, I’d say we are well on our way to fulfilling the above prophecy. 

I’m not able to attend every church service around this country so the letters from my brethren must suffice. But here’s a little tidbit some of you living here in the US might not be aware of. I’m not only inundated by letters from American Christians who are very concerned about their churches, but many letters come from my brethren in various countries around the world who have virtually the same complaint. Here’s a sampling of the complaints. “Why does my pastor teach from Rick Warren’s A Purpose Driven Life”? “Why is Rob Bell’s Velvet Elvis, or any of his books for that matter being taught to our congregation as the gospel?” And one of my favorites is “Why are we beginning to revert back to accepting and placing in our Christian Church many of the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, doesn’t being a Protestant mean we stand completely apart from the RCC in all doctrine”?

I’ve had people write and tell me that their pastor reads the book “The Shack” from the pulpit and they want to know if this is doctrinal. Or why do pastors pass out books to their congregations entitled “Heaven is Real” not as a book of fiction but as a book that is actually supposed to represent Heaven to us?

A pastor must be able to discern the truth, and as he teaches and preaches from God’s inerrant Word it will be revealed to the congregation that God is the author of the pastor’s message. Because many pastors are not spiritually discerning, bad doctrine thrives. “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,” Colossians 2:18.

God’s word is our doctrine. When men veer off the path that God has laid down for all humanity, it is intentional. Satan doesn’t want the Bible preached in our Christian Churches, nor does he want Christians reading the Bible. So, he has devised a way to replace the word of God with books that entice us away from the truth. It’s quite apparent by the biblical illiteracy permeating our Christian Churches that Satan has been very successful in his attempt to replace the Bible with other works. Not knowing sound doctrine themselves, many pastors have fallen for Satan’s enticements. Then they proceed to advance the doctrines of devils instead of the doctrines of the one and only true and living God. All this bad doctrine has been devised by the enemy of God to throw the Church for a loop. Intentional? You better believe it.

The last thing Satan wants the Church to do is to physically open their Bibles and become habitual at reading and studying God’s word. If Christ’s Church were actually literate, biblically that is, there would be many more Christians questioning bad doctrine as it enters their churches. Bad doctrine would be stopped at the front door, or in the case of a pastor who spouts bad doctrine, shown the front door. And that question from the pastor mentioned earlier “Do you have a PhD in Theology? No? Then where do you get off questioning me?” would have no effect on biblically literate Christian congregations.

Nowadays many people assume that if your name isn’t followed by alphabet soup you can’t be knowledgeable enough concerning the word of God to question those who have a PhD after their names. The question we must ask ourselves when it comes to studying and understanding God’s word is how many of Christ’s disciples had PhD’s after their names while they walked and talked and lived with Jesus for those three years? At the end they were given the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit guided them; some of them wrote down their experiences with Jesus and as they wrote they recorded Jesus’ own words. But all of them preached the truth of the Gospel and all but one were horribly martyred for their faith.

This come as a shocker to many of you but I have no PhD after my name. I have no college credits to boast of. I've never attended seminary or any Christian college, or secular college for that matter. I made it through high school only by the skin of my teeth and the help of a brother-in-law who wanted to see me graduate. But I’m convinced my teaching is in line with God’s precepts. Why am I so convinced? Only God Himself could be the force behind the commentaries I write. I couldn’t write a word without Him.

I’ve studied my Bible; I don’t mean I’ve just read it through a few times or something like that, but I’ve studied night and day for years. Yes, I studied the teachings of men who had been in the teaching ministry for many decades. My mentor was Chuck Missler of Koinonia House. I spent years studying his teaching materials. For years my eyes would pour over the many teaching materials Dr. Missler supplies. But ultimately the Bible became my greatest source for truth. Everything we read or study apart from the Bible – every Bible teacher’s lessons, all Christian authors and their books need to be filtered through God’s Word.        

I went out into the wilderness – I moved my family to rural Missouri from the beautiful Oregon coast. Needless to say they were not very happy with my decision. But in my mind I knew I had to divest myself of all entanglements of this deceptive world to grow closer to God. I spoke to Jesus my Savior and Lord here in the wilderness and finally I came to the realization that my life was no longer my own. I had determined to relinquish all control over to Him. When I made His will mine and His direction my path, He took control.
When this occurred God saw that my need to know Him was greater than any other need I had in my life, and through my determination and diligence to grow closer to God by studying His Word, He taught me sound doctrine -- His doctrine, not the doctrines of men. 

God will do the same thing for you as He did for me when you completely turn your life over to Him. Hold nothing back that you feel you need to keep control of and you will be greatly surprised by God’s participation in your study times. God will give you spiritual discernment; yes you with or without a PhD after your name.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:14-16. 

Isn’t it interesting how Paul speaks about the natural man? The word of God is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to the born again believers in Christ who have the mind of Christ, His word is spiritually discernable. He does the instructing, the teaching, and it’s His doctrine, not man’s, by which we are taught. 

Let no man deceive you into believing that you, a normal human being, are unable to comprehend the word of God, thus you need a man or women with a doctorate in theology to teach you. That they alone have the answers concerning the correct interpretation of God’s word. Those who allege such an exalted position are not led by the Holy Spirit to make such a claim. God will give anyone who asks for wisdom and knowledge concerning His word exactly what their heart desires. If it is your desire to no longer be a follower of all the satanic chicanery in the Christian Churches today, then ask God to teach you His doctrine. Study your Bible. Be a Berean “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11. Seek the truth for yourself daily to see if what you are being taught lines up with the Word of God.

All Bad Church Doctrine is Intentional, with Satan in the midst. The Word of God is our only true stability in a very unstable world. Study it with all due diligence and Satan must flee.

Faith Shared 'Chrislam' Drama Continues (VIDEO BELOW)

(NOTE: I've never paid much attention to the Van Impes, one way or the other, but now I'm a HUGE FAN to see them stand up for the faith in this way.) Here is the article:

Since mid-June, Jack and Rexella Van Impe have been focusing almost exclusively on "Chrislam," which they say is the merging of Christianity and Islam by numerous churches across the states in an effort to promote a demonic one world religion. A number of Christians believe that "Chrislam" is a sign of the end times.

What they are so upset about is the Faith Shared project sponsored by the Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First, where clergy representing various faiths gather during services to read from one another's texts. The project's goal is to unite the faith community and to "counter the misperception, including in the Arab and Muslim worlds, that the United States is a nation defined by the widely covered images of the marginal few who would burn a Qur’an, rather than by a proud and longstanding tradition of religious freedom, tolerance and pluralism."

Jack Van Impe had recently "outed" various preachers such as Rick Warren of the Saddleback mega-church for apostasy, saying they were practicing "Chrislam" on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). When Van Impe learned that the names were censored, he terminated his prophecy show broadcasted on the network. Last week, Van Impe made a public statement to Paul Crouch, founder of the network:

Paul, you've been asking me to come back. You've plead with me to come back. I'm talking about Paul Crouch of TBN. Rexella and I have made up our minds. It is not God's will for our life. We're going to take a stand. We're going to preach what we want to preach. We're not going to be told what we can and can't preach. And one more thing: Just this last week, on your program, you and Matt were talking about Chrislam and you said there's no substance to it. Brother, you'll know how much substance there is to it when I get my video out for maybe two hours this coming September … I want to quote to you Jude verse 10, 'You ought not to speak about things of which you know nothing.

According to Van Impe, Tony Blair and Bill Clinton are also promoting Chrislam and a one world religion. A one world government will occur before the one world religion, the Van Impes say.

Van Impe's profile continues to appear on the Trinity Broadcasting Network website, which states "No show times are scheduled in the next two months, please check back later."

Citing various scriptures, the Van Impes say that it is impossible for two different religions to stand together without being connected by demonic power. Such interfaith alliances are "doctrines of demons," Van Impe says. Rexella added that they love people of other religions but that they cannot come together.

"Call me a bigot. I'll be a bigot for my Jesus any day,"  Jack Van Impe says

Irenaeus: On the Rapture, 666, & The Image of the Beast

      Rev. 13:14 says that the Antichrist will set up an "image to the beast" and demand allegiance from all peoples. The image of Nebuchadnezzar was a prophetic 'type' of this future image. Nebuchadnezzar's statue was 6 cubits wide and 60 cubits high. Irenaeus (AD 120-202), the 2nd Century theologian and student of Polycarp (who was a personal student of John the Apostle), believed that these numbers allude to 666 - the mark of the beast and the number of his name.

Irenaeus wrote:

"In the previous books I have set forth the causes for which God permitted these things to be made, and have pointed out that all such have been created for the benefit of that human nature which is saved, ripening for immortality that which is [possessed] of its own free will and its own power, and preparing and rendering it more adapted for eternal subjection to God. And therefore the creation is suited to [the wants of] man; for man was not made for its sake, but creation for the sake of man. Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the Word justly reckons 'as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance - in fact, as nothing;' so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces toward the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, "There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.' For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.

"And there is, therefore in this beast, when he comes, a recapitulation made of all sorts of iniquity and of every deceit, in order that all apostate power, flowing into and being shut up in him, may be sent into the furnace of fire. Fittingly, therefore, shall his name possess the number 666, since he sums up in his own person all the commixture of wickedness, which took place previous to the deluge, due to the apostasy of the angels. For Noah was 600 years old when the deluge came upon the earth, sweeping away the rebellious world, for the sake of that most infamous generation which lived in the times of Noah. And Antichrist also sums up every error of devised idols since the flood, together with the slaying of the prophets and the cutting off of the just.

"For that image which was set up by Nebuchadnezzar had indeed a height of 60 cubits, while the breadth was 6 cubits; on account of which Ananias, Azarias, and Misael, when they did not worship it, were cast into a furnace of fire, pointing out prophetically, by what happened to them, the wrath against the righteous which shall arise towards the time of the end. For that image, taken as a whole, was a prefiguring of this man's coming, decreeing that he should undoubtedly himself alone be worshipped by all men. Thus, then the 600 years of Noah, in whose time the deluge occurred because of the apostasy, and the number of the cubits of the image (60) for which these just men were sent into the fiery furnace, do indicate the number of the name of that man in whom is concentrated the whole apostasy of 6000 years, and unrighteousness, and wickedness, and false prophecy, and deception; for which things a cataclysm of fire shall also come upon the earth.". (Irenaeus, Against Heresies, bk 5, ch. 29.)

     Please note that Irenaeus points out that the roots of the Antichrist originated during the "apostasy of the angels," who first appeared in the "times of Noah" and came back to establish themselves as "idols since the flood." These idols were Baal, Apollo (mentioned in Rev.), Osiris, Horus, etc., all of which are the same being in essence, which the people have worshiped over the ages, and which same Apollo will be resurrected, and will return, in the last days.

     He also links the 600 years of Noah to the 66 cubits in Nebuchadnezzar's statue, to form the number 666. He also notes that the Antichrist will contain "the whole apostasy of 6,000 years." In this way, Irenaeus is saying when he expects the prophecy to be fulfilled. Since 6,000 years have transpired from Adam until now the Antichrist should now be appearing.

     Note also that Irenaeus says that Christians will be caught up -- "when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this." He says that this would happen before the Tribulation Period sets in. This is a 2nd Century theologian's view of the pre-tribulation rapture.

     It is important to note that Irenaeus was a student of Polycarp, who was a student directly under the Apostle John. This permits no room for error to have crept into New Testament Christianity -- not this early, and not through a personage so close to the Apostle.

     This may be the strongest evidence that Apostle John taught a pre-tribulation rapture, as did others. So let us ignore the satanic deceptive clammerings about Darby, who was a sort of Martin Luther in bringing forth once again the correct early theology of those who learned directly from the Apostle John himself.

America is now facing its greatest crisis since the Civil War.

The Obama Administration, Democrats in Congress and the left-wing media are in the process of shredding the Constitution and undermining the rule of law in order to transform America into a Third World one-party state, where the only organization that works well is the secret police.

The Republican Party is hopelessly impotent and the legal authorities remain willfully ignorant.

Barack Obama is an illegal President according to Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the Constitution and the binding precedent of Minor vs. Happersett (1875). There is no ambiguity, although those complicit in the fraud have deliberately provided information to mislead the American people.  

Members of  Congress will not investigate allegations that  Obama boldly presented, on national television, a forged Certificate of Live Birth as an official record of his birth. They will not respond to evidence that Obama’s Selective Service registration is also a forgery and that his Social Security Number is illegal.
Congress does not act because it has succumbed to political blackmail.

For the same reasons, there is a conspiracy of silence that has spread throughout the federal government, the political establishment, the judicial system, the media and law enforcement agencies.

Members of our government have condoned a clear violation of the Constitution, ignored probably felonies and lied to the American people.

We have a gangster government.

Obama must not be permitted to enter another election cycle without his ineligibility and his alleged felonies being properly addressed.

If not, both the Constitution and the rule of law will be rendered meaningless.

Abraham Lincoln said that the American people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow those who pervert the Constitution.

It is now the responsibility of ordinary American citizens to act, if we want to preserve the Constitution, upon which our liberties depend.Constitutional Conservatives should adopt the words of Samuel Adams:

“It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

A nationwide political insurgency must be launched to counter the corruption in the political establishment.
Liberal strongholds like major US cities should be, for now, ceded to the opposition.

We should concentrate on gaining political control of areas containing the water supply, food production, power generation, transportation hubs and those areas close to military bases.

If law enforcement is not available and there is a need to defend homes and families, extra food and water should be stockpiled as well as the weapons and ammunition that the law will permit.

Every effort needs to be made to funnel political funding away from candidates who are not Constitutional Conservatives.A national communications and information system free from the control of the main stream media must be established.Regional political command and control centers will provide small expert teams to inform and train dispersed political units, which will have the capability of operating independently. Already-existing religious networks could provide a starting point.

We have petitioned our government for the redress of grievances, but we have been ignored and misled.
We have not yet begun to fight.

A Few Words of Greeting From The Dark Side

     I may be 'losing it,' but my sense of humor seems to be asserting itself of late. Perhaps it's just the general craziness in the world, and of which few people seem to be aware. We live in the most significant time in the history of the universe ... and people go about their business as though nothing is happening. It may have finally driven me over the edge ... 

......because I have decided to share a few words from the myriad of fallen angels hovering somewhere in the upper atmosphere - waiting with baited breath to 'land,' as it were. You've got to realize that I've been reading this stuff for several years, and I know it so well that I get quite a kick out of their point of view on things - or at least the point of view they wish us to get. It's the same stuff over and over and over and....well, you get it. So I'm going to post an excerpt from one of these cosmic communiques with any comments I may have [and how could I resist?] bracketed and in red.

     While this is the most serious of all possible subjects (communicating  with them - or to be more precise, listening in on their communications to their Lightworkers), I must be overly saturated with research to find so much amusement in them. Well, whatever. Here goes.

7 Ben, 11 Kumku, 7 Ik    [This is their idea of a date]
Dratzo! [Greeting] We return! We sit and wait in much anticipation high above you. We know that the divine moment for our Earth allies [their advance team, people in positions of power here on the ground] approaches! The dark has long been in control of your governments and, indirectly, your lives; [too true] and now this long reign of tyranny is to come to a long-awaited end. [Uh huh, right. We all know what they are bringing is far worse than anything we have yet known.] Certain agreements are ready to be made public which will dictate the termination of the dark's rule.[When they speak of 'the dark ones,' these are the world rulers, including our own, to whom they give orders from above. They have been in touch with earth rulers for years and have given them all of their power and wealth; now they will double-cross them and take it all away ... as their game plan always goes.]. Although the new monetary and financial system is also ready for immediate implementation, the finalizing of a necessary set of accords constituting the legitimacy of the new temporary governments [their people who are taking over] is still delaying matters. The heads of these interim regimes will completely revamp the world that is familiar to you [Yes, we can be certain of that.]. They will institute the distribution of universal wealth and set up new governance that is truly transparent and obedient to the people [And there is the lie.]. These caretakers are to oversee the introduction of the sequestered technologies and the formal disclosure of our existence. Many dedicated adherents of the dark are to be revealed and arrested for serious crimes against the people and the world [only if they give them trouble, and refuse to go quietly.]. And this is just the beginning.[So we have been led to believe.]

Restructuring government is one of their most weighty tasks: it entails nothing less than a full reexamination of the daily workings of government and the manner in which its many services are executed [they are very 'hands on' with their minions.]. It is essential that each of you [they are speaking to their 'lightworkers' ... I am only an observer] play a role in assisting these caretakers in carrying out this in-depth overhaul. As you move ever close to full consciousness [demon possession], you become more able to add your well-considered suggestions to the process, as it is this very process of open dialogue between citizens and the new governance [them] that will make the transition smooth and constructive. 

Naturally we expect glitches and some bumpy times ahead [ahem], and we know that advice from us on many issues will be needed as this restructuring phase plays out. Reframing your entire global society in such a short space of time is a truly daunting undertaking [they've been working on it for years ... centuries], and you are being asked to 'jump in the deep end.' Differences of opinion between you are inevitable, and we therefore offer your Agarthan cousins and ourselves in the role of mediators and counselors [I dare say].

The path ahead of you is being paved by the actions of our Earth allies and by the series of formal announcements which are to completely transform the world you now know. A post-disclosure world will at first feel utterly different [I'm counting on not being here]. Also, the dark's increasingly ominous supremacy will be at an end [and yours will begin]. Resources hitherto withheld from you will be yours, and these will brighten your journey through the transition into a new reality and show you the undreamt-of potential you possess [Dream on]. 

Similarly, your relationship to Gaia [Earth] is to change dramatically [as Revelation tells us all], and the presence of the Agarthans [the original 200 fallen angels dwelling somewhere inside the earth - abyss] will stand your current notion of her geophysical make-up on its head! You will learn about how planets are created hollow, and this will found a new planetary physics, initiating a wholly new scientific paradigm for your society, one which combines Spirit and matter. These new physical sciences will lead to fresh views on the origins of life (they will 'prove' that they created us) and the nature of physicality, allowing you to better understand what we are to bring into your lives [ DNA changes, including animals, and mechanics - transhumanism].

This revolutionary scientific and philosophic knowledge, as well as official confirmation [the mark?] by your governments of your collective ascension, will define your last days as surface dwellers. The next step will introduce you to the wonders and beauties of Inner Earth [never been sure what this entails; I have my ideas, but will withhold]. Planets are magnificent Beings who possess both inner and outer realms. Our task is to help a planet to link these realms and to sustain them at their full potential. This work brings you into contact with the flora and fauna of both realms, allowing you to discover the amazing differences and similarities of the two worlds and thus, how the ecological balance is maintained. This husbandry is one of society's primary tasks. Once you are fully conscious [possessed], all the animals and plants can speak to you and explain what they require (animal rights ... and plant rights) to live and prosper. The podlets assigned to specific tasks at the planet's various nodal points use this prime energy to sustain the complex ecologies of both realms. It won't take you long to become true stewards of Gaia and all her life forms.

Blessings! We are your Ascended Masters! The final parts to a very convoluted puzzle are now being put in place. Over the past few millennia, the dark and its earthly minions have been able to run this world as they pleased. Nevertheless, during this time the Light [their influence] slowly gained adherents in key places, and these cracks in the dark's solidarity allowed us to form several crucial secret societies [yes...] around your planet, dedicated to serving your Ascended Masters [them]. These organizations are now using their connections and resources to force the dark from its seats of power. This mission has produced a series of legal precedents which are about to achieve our aims, and we are ready to make the announcements [of their arrival], which will doubtless shock many of you [no doubt]. It is generally assumed that these illegal regimes are immune from change, but such is not the case! Prepare yourselves for some astonishing broadcasts in the immediate days ahead![changes in government ,etc.]

The Light inundating your world in an ever-strengthening flow is melting the veil [portals, gateways] between your spiritual and physical realms. This action also raises the frequencies of your cellular RNA/DNA, waking people up in record amounts, and so the numbers of people calling upon us each day has risen exponentially (because now, they are adding Christianity to their collection - the apostate "Christians" are meditating and contacting them through "centering prayer," yoga, and other avenues). We hear your prayers and requests, and use our own energies to help and sooth your growing distress, which is a direct result of the increasing collapse of your reality.

The dark [government leadership] is determined to cling to the wreckage they created, and we are equally intent on transforming it into Light [I imagine so]. Heaven has given us the decrees to transform this 'veil of tears' and we are eager to finish this sacred task! In anticipation of this, our associates have placed themselves in positions where their triumph is now assured (they are now all over the globe in politics, religion, etc.).

The period we are passing through is when Mother Earth is to be made over to the Light [transferred completely to their power]. This process is nearly done. The end of this particular stage will be the formal announcements that proclaim that our space family is here and ready to disclose its program for the landings [alien craft]. At the same time, the first broadcasts from our Agarthan family [underground] will go out. We have lived among them for millennia and know how much they desire to reunite the realms of Inner and surface Earth. They intend to show you around their glorious world and prepare you for your journey back to full consciousness. The environs and residences where this is to take place are ready and waiting for your occupancy. We have supervised all the preparations and greatly look forward to completing your ascension. It is vital that the divine plan be manifested, and manifested now! 

Today, we gave you more information about the progress of some of the changes that are to transform your world. We also explained that a number of programs are close to instituting a new financial and monetary system, as well as several new caretaker governments. We look forward to meeting you in the physical and being your mentors [they have much to teach people] during your return to full consciousness. Know, dear Ones, that the countless Supply and never-ending Prosperity of Heaven are indeed Yours! So Be It! Selamat Gajun! Selamat Ja! (Sirian for Be One! and Be in Joy!)

These are all channeled messages (and posted on forums, which is where I see them) coming through 'regular' people; that is, workers of the occult. This particular entity, whose name I didn't include, has been channeling for a number of years and is well known as a channel of the 'ascended masters' (or more likely, their minions). "The Nine," etc., normally speak only to VIPs on earth, such as military and gov't leaders. 

Sometimes people pose as channels, but are actually CIA, disinformation agents, remote viewers, whistleblowers. They come and go. The major channelers, such as this one, are around a long time, are consistent and generally give a picture of what the 'other team' wants people to know or think. If you went back ten years you would find them saying almost the same things, just changing with the obvious world circumstances, as needed. When they say something will happen 'very soon,' it could be years away. They just keep saying it over and over ... vain repetitions.

So, there you have it. One more tiny component in the average day of a researcher (no wonder I'm going crazy). Most of this stuff is very tedious and boring to me, but it may give you a glimpse into the other side. In order to ever come to tentative conclusions, and to arrive at the truth in this field riddled with disinformation, one must look at every possible source of information - or disinformation.

I don't recommend ever even reading channeled messages and such. It is normally very dangerous. However, I had years and years of Bible study, doctrine, Christian research and study of the occult under my belt before the Lord placed this assignment before me. Even then, I was somewhat fearful, and daily pray that the Lord will protect me from I know not what! He does. I'm getting rather tired of it, and sometimes recently have had a strong sense that my job is coming to a conclusion. I'm rather weary. I'm quite eager to 'go home.'

My number one, primary, research tool is always God's Word. Everything else is measured against the Bible. The Lord is my best friend, my confidante, my brother, my Redeemer, my Savior, and I just can't wait to see Him ... and everyone else! It's been a great and exciting ride here on earth (Soul School), but I'm all packed and ready to go now. I want to fall to my knees before - and meet face to face with - the One I've come to know so well.

I don't think God the Father is how you may picture Him, and I don't think the next part of our eternal journey is the way you may think it is. I think it's very much like our life right here on earth in many ways - only incredibly better in every way.

The Counterfeit Christ ... Antichrist

I have listed below 18 truths about Jesus Christ. Below that list - and in the same order - are listed some of the hallmarks of the counterfeit  - the Antichrist.

THE REAL: JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD

• The Great Pyramid at Giza: many believe this was God-ordered and may play some role (currently unknown) when Christ returns

THE FAKE: THE ANTICHRIST, A CREATED ANGEL (NOW FALLEN)

• The fallen angels came down on Mt Hermon (which has three peaks), and some believe the post-flood pagan religion based on pyramids was a counterfeit in some way of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
• Satan seeks to re-create mankind through altering DNA (the seed of Satan), as ‘in the days of Noah.
• Satan calls Mount Hermon “Mount Sion.”(as in Priory of Sion)’
• The False “Trinity in Unity”: Satan, the Beast/Antichrist and the False Prophet
• The Antichrist will spring (it is believed by many) from the tribe of Dan (“the lion’s whelp), the Jews are looking for a Messiah whose father is from the tribe of Judah, but whose mother is from the tribe of Dan.
• The Antichrist will work miracles and call fire down from heaven (UFOs)
• Lucifer calls for blood sacrifices (abortion, war, etc.) so that his followers can achieve “at-one-ment”
• The Antichrist will be resurrected from the grave (Apollo/Osiris/Horus/etal – they are all the same god worshipped in Babylon, Egypt, Greece and then Rome).
• Lucifer’s “Pentecost”  - the “Overshadowing” when millions of people become demon possessed
• Lucifer’s followers will be unified “as one” through universal demonic possession
• Many signs in the heavens will precede the coming of the Antichrist  (see note below*)
• Lucifer’s followers will “ascend” -  through the ‘overshadowing’ by demons (above)
• The Antichrist will arrive on a white horse
• Antichrist arrives at the end of a great war, perhaps Gog & Magog
• The war will end in fire for Israel’s enemies
• Antichrist comes with His ‘holy’ aliens (demonic fallen angels) in UFOs
• Antichrist sets up his kingdom of “peace” – a satanic dictatorship
• Antichrist allows the building of the third Jewish temple in Jerusalem

* I believe that the floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and strange sights in the sun and stars (and perhaps the arrival of Planet-X) are caused and/or enhanced (through HAARP) by Satan's rulers on earth, and that a great war will occur soon, in order to make people believe that we are at the END OF DAYS when we are actually in “THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS.”  Do not be deceived! Most people will be expecting the actual Jesus Christ to return. (Jesus Christ cannot return until the end of the rule of the Antichrist and False Prophet.)

The saints will be raptured in a time of great financial, political, and weather chaos (perhaps even nuclear war), and a great earthquake … at the sixth seal (when the graves of the just will be opened). Many people will disappear with little notice or explanation during all of this, just as they did in Japan and other disasters. Few will notice graves opening, or a rapture, in the chaos occurring in so many places; therefore, the AC will be able to explain away the Rapture satisfactorily to the people who will have been ‘overshadowed’ by the demonic angels coming in a massive UFO landing, which will occur nearly simultaneously with the Rapture. The people will believe that finally - once and for all - they are bringing peace from the heavens and that 'the christ' has returned! At least, so they will believe. 

Of course, I could be incorrect in this timing - but as I have studied and tried to piece all of the events together, this is the scenario that has developed thus far.

ALL OF THIS IS THE GREAT DECEPTION – THE GRAND DELUSION.

Humanity is not near the end. We are near the beginning of sorrows, i.e., the beginning of the end of days. 

As for the true Christian ... Keep looking up! Your redemption is nigh.
